A group that helps consumers with the tools and expectations necessary for them to guide their life now and in the future. Peer support is not designed to replace professional counseling, but it can serve as an additional support in improving the lives of people with disabilities. Support can come from one-on-one peer support with RAMP staff, board members, consumers, and community support groups.

Head Start and Early Head Start are comprehensive child development programs that serve children from birth to age five, pregnant women and their families. The programs are child-focused and have the overall goal of increasing the school readiness of young children in low-income families.

Both programs provide a range of individualized services in the areas of education, medical, dental and mental health, nutrition and social service to children and their families. Parent involvement is encouraged and support is offered for children with disabilities.

Provides a thrift store.

Hope Ministries Thrift has two locations that accept donations of clothing, household goods, furniture and more. Donations can be dropped off from 10 am-6 pm Donation pick-ups are available, call for more details. Thrift Store Locations: 4640 Merle Hay Road, Urbandale and 500 E. Army Post Road, Des Moines.

Provides a retail facility that recycles overstocked, discontinued, new and used building materials donated by manufacturers, businesses, contractors and individuals. These materials are then incorporated in the construction of Habitat homes or are sold to the general public at a discounted rate.

Provides a 12-step program for individuals with an addiction to issues surrounding money, including overspending, credit card abuse, check kiting, and other forms of money addiction. Services include in person, or virtual meetings visit website for more information. 

Provides individual, couples, and family therapy, as well as mental health evaluations, psychiatric medication evaluations and management. Therapeutic teams partner with clients to achieve goals related to mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, relationship problems, behavior problems, personality disorders and chronic mental illness.

Provides water and sewer services to the city of Le Grand. 

Offers over 1300 acres of public parks and about 45 miles of hard surface trails.

Offers diagnostic services and treatment for STDs/STIs. Also offers testing for HIV and Hepatitis C, as well as the Gardasil vaccine. Hepatitis A and B immunizations are provided to all STD/STI clinic clients.

Diagnostics and treatment provided for the following STDs/STIs:

-- Human papilloma virus infections (genital warts)

-- Trichomonas

County level services provide direct emergency economic aid for vital necessities to veterans, their widow, and dependents, according to their needs. Personal visits for assistance and claims to housebound veterans or dependents. Must have an honorable or under honorable conditions discharge from active duty or wartime service. Must be a resident in Nebraska for the past one year and 6 months of that year in Douglas County.

State level services do not require wartime service. Assist in completing applications for the Nebraska Veterans Aid Fund, fee exempt fishing and hunting permits, applications to the Nebraska Veterans Homes, and waivers of tuition.

Federal level services provide and/or complete Veteran Administration forms for claims relating but not limited to service connected compensation, disability pension, widow's pension, burial allowance, grave markers/headstones, educational benefits, home loans, insurance, indebtedness, and character of service upgrades.
