Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights
Special Education District of McHenry County
Provides educational programming and services for member district students whose educational needs cannot be served within their local districts. Member districts annually complete a comprehensive needs assessment process identifying areas of programming needed for the upcoming school year.
Programming includes itinerant services for hearing and vision needs, adapted physical education, autism, and/or orientation and mobility training. Related support services and diagnostic and consultation services are also available to support students in their educational environment.
Professional development opportunities also available for clinicians and educators.
Godley Park District - Community Preschool
Offers before and after school programs. Offering age appropriate activities.
Also offers extended day programs during selected holidays, scheduled school closings and possibly some emergency closure days. Children do not need to be enrolled in the program year-round to participate in no school days; however, specific DCFS paperwork, including emergency contact information will be required.
Buddy Bags of Dixon
Provides weekend meals for students.
North Iowa Regional Services
Open to those who are experiencing a mental health crisis that do not require hospitalization, or do not have access to a support system. Provides crisis stabilization and help to identify and connect the client to support systems prior to discharge from the ACSC.
Stays can not exceed the 5 day limit.

Greater Family Health - McHenry
Provides Medication-Assisted Treatment who struggles with an Opioid Use Disorder. Other services include primary health care, group and individual counseling, recovery support coaching, and care management.
Veterans Assistance Commission - McHenry County
Prepares, presents, and prosecutes claims for VA Disability and Pension benefits on behalf of veterans and/or their families. This program also assists with identifying and applying for other benefits or programs offered by the VA such as VA Healthcare.
Identifies programs/ services/ benefits the veteran and/or the veteran’s family can use, and are eligible for, that are not administered by the VA.
New Hampton City Offices
Meals on Wheels Foundation of Northern Illinois - Frankfort
Provides nutritious lunches in a friendly, inclusive environment. Each meal includes a balanced combination of protein, vegetables, fruit, grain, and milk.
Menus are carefully designed and approved by a registered dietitian to ensure they meet 1/3 of the daily recommended intake of essential nutrients.
Some locations offer hot meal pick-up and/or delivery. (Varies by location; see description of hours for details.)
IDHHS - Income Maintenance Customer Service Center
Provides a centralized state-wide call center that responds to inquiries about the Food Assistance, FIP (Family Investment Program) or Medicaid program. REPORT CHANGES: the Call Center also takes recipient changes, lets the Income Maintenance Worker (caseworker) know what the change are, and instructs the recipient if any verification is required. Changes included could be income, address, rent/utility payments, household members, etc.
Bethany Christian Services - Orange City
Provides help when a family is in crisis, kids can become vulnerable to neglect and abuse. Through the Safe Families ministry, volunteer Host Families offer loving care to parents, watching over their children while the parents regain stability.

Salvation Army of Bloomington - Safe Harbor Shelter and Social Service Center
Temporary housing for veterans for up to 90 days while they find and secure permanent housing. Can currently house 11 male veterans in Lincoln and 9 male or female veterans in Bloomington. Limited accommodations possible for families.
While in the GPD program, veterans will receive several services, housing intervention, case management, life skills training, access to either prepared meals or food pantry items, transportation, and assistance with applying for VA and Social Security benefits.
