Types of equipment available include canes, crutches, walkers, hospital beds, wheelchairs, knee walkers, bedside commodes, toilet risers, shower/bath seats, bath transfer benches, bathtub rails, shower grab bars, 30" Reach/grab, icing machines, ankle and wrist weights, bed rails, toilet rails, and gait belts, surgical boots, sock aids and more.
Foundation 2 Mobile Crisis Outreach - Pennsylvania Avenue
Provides a joint effort of Foundation 2, Horizons, ASAC, Abbe Center, Tanager Place and St. Luke's with the common goal of serving youth with immediate mental health or substance abuse needs quickly. If there are concerns about a youth in crisis, J-FAST can meet to discuss options. Issues covered include depression, cutting, violent behavior, substance abuse and thoughts of suicide. J-Fast can be at any Linn County location within an hour of the call. Additional services include Assessment and Referrals, Case Management.
Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Rockford - McHenry
Provides professional counseling and casework services for individuals, marriages, and families experiencing a variety of social, emotional, and interpersonal problems. Works with a variety of issues such as, anxiety, depression, family and adolescent issues.
The goal is to provide clients with the skills necessary to surmount a problem, and/or link to the services that may help prevent a recurrence of the crisis that caused them to seek out services.
Telehealth services are available.

Dubuque AmeriCorps Program
Offers to serve at the intersection of education and mental health to help youth understand their emotions, reactions, and relationships through social-emotional learning to improve academic, career, and social success. AmeriCorps members are stationed within local organizations, including the Dubuque Community School District, Carnegie-Stout Public Library, Multicultural Family Center, City of Dubuque Engineering, and Parks and Recreation Departments, ensuring a comprehensive and multi-faceted approach to supporting youth development.

DOVES Program, The - Chadron
Provides abuse and crisis intervention services to those going through a domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, or sex trafficking situation. Services include a family violence crisis line, counseling or counseling referrals for survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault, emergency shelter and transportation, peer support groups, and child advocacy.
Protection order assistance, criminal justice/legal advocacy, and medical advocacy are also available to those who may need it.
Support group for victims of domestic violence. Open to anyone who is experiencing or has experienced abuse in an intimate relationship, including individuals who are still involved in the abusive relationship. Transportation available.
NAMI - Kane-South, DeKalb, and Kendall Counties
- NAMI Family to Family: Provides an 8-session educational program for family, significant others, and friends of people living with mental illness. Program is also offered in Spanish.
- NAMI Peer to Peer: Provides an 8-week educational program for adults with mental health conditions who are looking to better understand themselves and their recovery. Program is also offered in Spanish.
- NAMI Basics: Provides a 6-week education program for parents and family caregivers of children and teens who are experiencing symptoms of a mental illness or who have already been diagnosed. Program is offered in a group setting so that attendees can connect with others face-to-face.
- NAMI Ending the Silence: Provides a presentation for middle and high school students. Symptoms of mental health conditions and resources to access when they are noted in peers and family members are provided. A recovery speaker shares their story. Students are asked to take action in ending the stigma regarding mental illness.
Primary Health Care - University Clinic
Provides primary medical and preventive services, lead/poison and prevention services, immunizations, maternal/child home visitations, TeleHealth services, physicals and sports physicals, and other supportive services such as low cost prescription drugs.
