- Multi-Family Housing Programs: Loans for affordable rental housing for very-low- to moderate-income residents, the elderly, and people with disabilities. BRANCH OFFICES: Polk County Sheriff's Office handles animal control for the unincorporated areas of Polk County (515) 286-3333. After hours a Police Officer may respond to an animal incident.
