Pioneer Center for Human Services - Administrative Office
Strives to provide connection with other parenting teens, help finding resources available (childcare, housing assistance, WIC, etc.), information on pregnancy and parenting, help dealing with school challenges (time management, schedules), and assistance in preventing another pregnancy.
Home visits are provided to obtain additional, personalized support. The home visitor can work with the whole family or specific individuals.

LIHEAP (low income home energy assistance program) provides assistance with a utility bill. Applications are accepted November 1 – April 30; for elderly or disabled individuals applications are accepted starting October 1. Income must fall within 200% of poverty guideline. Call for an appointment. A letter has been sent to those who may be eligible for early application in August or September.
**This program is not designed to pay a household's total energy costs. The program will provide supplemental assistance based on several factors. This is a one-time payment to your energy provider.

- North Corps, 2401 Manderson Street, Mon-Fri 9 am-4 pm; Lunch served 11:30 am-1 pm. Warm coffee and restrooms available.
All warming centers open in below-freezing temperatures and officially issued weather advisories and warmings, or when wind chills are below freezing. Open to the public with the only exception being personal ban/barres from a facility. Service and emotional support animals are welcome.

Columbus Area United Way, Inc
Connects youth and families to resources and support. Navigators help “fill gaps” by helping agencies partner around a common goal or by utilizing flexible funding for needs such as rent, utilities, transportation, and more.
Community Prevention reduces unnecessary involvement of child welfare and juvenile justice while increasing the informal and community supports for youth and families. Coordinates existing resources and matches participants with a resource to either solve an immediate need or develop a longer-term coaching relationship.
