Toy Distribution:

Starts 11/20/2025, ends 12/11/2025. Approved applicants will be notified of specific distribution dates and locations. 

Provides home-based health services that assist individuals with recovery, regaining independence, and becoming as self-sufficient as possible. A provider’s order is needed to participate in all Home Care services.

Home Care Services can include home visits, homemaker assistance services (like bathing, meal preparation, walking assistance, etc.), mobile integrated healthcare, remote patient monitoring nursing services, skilled nursing care, diabetic care, pediatric care, wound care, intravenous (IV) therapy, medication assessments, and therapy services.

Residents may borrow equipment for up to three months. Typically stocks the following items:

- Wheelchairs.

- Walkers.

- Canes.

- Crutches.

Assists older persons or their caregivers in identifying their needs and place them in contact with appropriate community resources or service providers.

Follow up activities are included such as making sure the older person was able to receive the service or help the older person obtain the service.

Offers bus driver training. Providing two types of Bus Driver courses. An 8-hour initial training is required for all new school bus drivers prior to getting a bus permit and 2-hour refresher workshop is required in the 12-month period prior to renew a school bus permit.

Provides information, referrals, and guidance for senior living, care, support, and benefits for older adults. Consultants can also provide help with the Veteran's Aid and Attendance benefits. Services include a variety of educational meetings, book clubs, support groups, and other meetings are also available. Online Senior Resource Directory is designed to help older adults in Illinois stay home safely or transition successfully.

Offers Child Care Expense Assistance through the Iowa Department of Human services is available to the children of income-eligible parents who are absent for a portion of the day due to employment or participation in academic or vocational training or PROMISE JOBS activities. Offers a home energy audit program. Services include the initial walk through and the blower door test. During the walkthrough members will identify areas where air may be leaking in and perform initial safety checks. The blower door is specialized equipment that allows to measure the level of air infiltration by surveying the extent of air leaks in the home. Depending on the results of the home energy audit, members may proceed with weatherization services. Services may include repairs for windows, doors, attic access, outlets, rim joints, ducts, water pipes, and efficiency improvements.

Offers a wide range of FREE energy efficiency services including energy saving kits, energy audits, and weatherizations on homes in the Cedar Valley area.

Offers educational websites and blogs on topics such as gardening, fruits and vegetables, flowers, insects and diseases, composting, and landscaping.

Provides services for those effected by natural and man-made disasters.

Provides library services giving access to information. Items that may be borrowed from or used in the library include books, audio tapes, large print books and other materials. Also have computers available for those that need to access the internet.
