For Christmas 2025:

Offers the Operation Santa program, where qualifying parents can pick out gifts for their children (ages 0-18) at a pop-up shop in December (date to be determined; by appointment only).

Visit the office and fill out an application before the deadline (Nov 22, 2025); parents will then be pre-approved for a time to come and select gifts for their children. Gift options include new and gently used clothing, games, puzzles, etc. Parents also receive a $50 gift card and $50 voucher for each child.

Investigates allegations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of older adults and persons with disabilities who live in domestic (non-institutional) setting.

Once a report has been filed, a caseworker will make a home visit to investigate any allegations of abuse and assist the victim. Interventions will be offered to the victim and referrals made to the appropriate organizations. Interventions can include but are not limited to in-home services, legal, medical, relocation, and counseling.

Provides education and information for first time homeowners on the process of buying a home. Services may also include housing counseling services such as creating a plan to increase income, reduce debt, increase credit score, etc. Services include walking individuals through the process of buying a home, such as selecting a realtor, going through an inspection, selecting a loan, finding down payment assistance, going through closing documentation, etc. Households receive assistance in developing and implementing an individualized home purchase plan. Home buyer education available on-line for a fee. Home Inc. also offers properties for purchase and will help create financing options to enable low-income families to purchase the completed homes.

Offers a visitation program for low-income families providing free services in partnership with their FaDSS Family Development Specialist who works with the whole family to address their basic needs, improve child wellbeing, and develop career opportunities.

Serves seniors with the goal of helping them remain safe and in their homes for as long as possible. The program focuses on chronic disease prevention, nutrition, and physical activity. Department nurses offer low-cost foot care and blood pressure screenings, home visitations, and educational presentations. Staff works with community partners, reaching most program participants through senior centers, churches, and independent senior living communities.
