Provides tutoring to students in reading, writing, and math who are between 6 months and 2 years behind grade level in math or reading will qualify for the program. Methodist Fremont Health
Community benefit program that assists patients with obtaining medications who are uninsured, underinsured and with financial needs. The MAP program also works with patients and physicians to find generic alternatives to costly brand name medications.
The program provides MAP patients with a one-time prescription to ensure they do not go without critical medication while external assistance program medications are being mailed to them. The medications are provided through the Methodist Fremont Health Pharmacy at no cost or at a reduced price for patients.

Love INC. Sioux County
For Christmas 2025:
Heart of Christmas is Sat, Dec 6th, from 10 am-11 am, held at the Faith Church in Rock Valley, IA. Provides a Christmas store for children ages 3-11, and parents pay $5 per child to choose and wrap a gift. The store closes at 10:45 am, so parents must arrive before that time.
This also qualifies parents to receive a holiday meal kit. Children enter the Christmas Carnival area with a variety of games and decorate Christmas cookies. There is an interactive retelling of the Christmas story.
Parents must register by Nov 21. Register online at www.loveincsiouxcounty.org, our facebook page, or call (712) 476-5990. No registration needed for Christmas Carnival. (All children must be accompanied by a parent at the event.)

Provides one-time annual assistance for basic needs, including rent or lot rent, utilities such as gas, electric, and water, and food vouchers. The program does not serve individuals receiving FIP, living in subsidized housing, or currently enrolled as students. Additionally, the program may offer support for prescription medication needs, such as access to low-cost or hard-to-obtain medications and assistance with medication adherence. Financial assistance for burial or cremation expenses may also be available to help families cover funeral, cremation, or interment costs.
