The Harbach Center and Public Library are now available, providing recreational activities and library services for residents of Clive. Additionally, assistance is available to cover tuition, fees, or other expenses for individuals who wish to participate in recreational, artistic, or leisure-time activities, as well as organized sports programs, ensuring access for those who may face financial barriers.

Provides immediate treatment and diagnosis for minor illnesses and injuries.

Publishes a comprehensive list of health care providers, facilities, and clinics that offer to have free ultrasounds performed by a person at least as qualified as a registered nurse.

Provides various employment services to individuals with disabilities. Employment services include:

- Career counseling.

- Resume and cover letter development.

- Assistance with finding job leads.

- Interview practice.

- Assistance with securing public or private transportation.

- Job coaching.

- Assistance with identifying possible job accommodations.

Provides support groups, one on one support, service coordination, and respite services to caregivers caring for older adults ages 60 and older, or a caregiver caring for an individual with dementia of any age. 

Assists older adults to remain independent in their home as long as possible by providing an evaluation of the older adults' needs, developing a plan of care to meet those needs, and monitoring their plan to make changes as appropriate to keep them independent.

Care coordinators also provide an evaluation in the hospital or at home to educate individuals about their resource options prior to entering a nursing home.

Offers adult and monthly childhood Immunization Clinics, provides travel vaccines and information specific to where you are traveling to, can bill vaccines to most private insurance companies and flu vaccines available in the fall.

Provides door-to-door and fixed route transportation services. Transportation passes also available for purchase.

Provides police and dispatch services responsible for emergency assessment and response.

Family resource program to support parents in educating and nurturing their children. The program provides parents with opportunities to move toward self-sufficiency by working with other community organizations. Health and mental health services are also provided to participants.

Program helps parents better understand their child’s stages of development with individualized visits in the home. The weekly visits are 90 minutes in length and are designed to meet the needs of each family. Staff will assist families in planning activities that encourage the child’s growth. Social activities will be held twice monthly to provide the opportunity to interact with your child and other families.

Provides police services responsible for emergency assessment and response.

HCBS (HOME AND COMMUNITY BASED SERVICES) programs provide training and support to people living in shared homes in the community with opportunities for learning skills to help develop independence. (Pella/Knoxville and Indianola/Des Moines regions).  SPIRITUAL SERVICES are available to all clients.
