The program will provide supplemental assistance based on several factors. This is a one-time payment to your energy provider.

The Jail Diversion Program is offered to individuals in Jasper and Poweshiek Counties who are in contact with the criminal justice system because of a mental health or co-occurring disorder.  Participation in the Jail Diversion Program is voluntary.  Program staff are able to assist with locating housing, applying for community assistance programs, locating employment, budgeting, promoting independent living skills and identifying and intervening where there are gaps in care. Staff also provide goal-related transportation.
