Applications are available from January to May. Prep work will happen during July and a volunteer team will paint on a Friday or Saturday in mid-August.

County Store
Offers clothing (baby, children's, school, maternity, adult, plus size, winter, formal wear, shoes), household goods, small kitchen appliances, bedding/linen, bed frames, office supplies, tools, and walkers/wheelchairs, etc. at moderate prices. Availability of items depends on what has been donated. The County Store accepts vouchers (for clothing and household goods) issued by local agencies. In times of community or personal disaster (fire, flood, tornado, chemical spill, etc.) in Howard County, may provide clothing and blankets free of charge. Donations accepted during store hours and volunteer opportunities available.
Department of Human Services (DHS) - Lee / Ogle County
Provides temporary financial assistance for pregnant women and families with one or more dependent children.
TANF provides financial assistance to help pay for food, shelter, utilities, and expenses other than medical.
Transitional services are also available to help families become independent, such as GED preparation, vocational training, job retention programs, etc.

Provides in home support services for individuals in need. Services include personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, exercises and a respite care program.

Riders are encouraged to schedule trips at least one working day in advance (same-day service is available if space permits), and riders must be ready for pick-up 15 minutes prior to the scheduled pick-up time. Cancellations must be made at least two hours prior to pick-up time.
All vehicles are wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant.

- Treatment of tenants differently due to one of the above mentioned traits or statuses.
- Issues with requests for reasonable accommodations in housing due to disability.
