Offers emotional support to families grieving the death of a precious child of any age and from any cause. TCF offers support to parents (and anyone in a guardianship role), grandparents, and adult siblings, and we have local chapters across the United States.

Offers free legal advice to the victims of the April 26 and May 21, 2024 severe storms who are experiencing legal problems due to the storms. Legal problems may include issues such as: FEMA denials, problems with insurance, landlord/tenant issues, unemployment benefits or denials, employment issues, contractor issues and identity theft. After calling 1-866-761-4692, callers will be connected to the Hotline voicemail. Callers should leave their name, phone number, brief description of their legal problem, and whether the issue is urgent. Callers will receive a call back from an experienced Iowa Legal Aid staff member to go through a screening. Callers who meet Iowa Legal Aid’s guidelines will be connected with an Iowa Legal Aid attorney.

Offers GED classes in English and Spanish. 

Blood collection services.

Provides a food pantry to eligible households who may need help with food. Food help is given once per month. USDA commodities may also be distributed through the food pantries.

Offers online support group that shares stories, resources, and sends positive messages in dealing with Autism.

A senior group that meets throughout the month for fun, socialization, and fellowship.  A calendar of events is posted on the Township's website.

Transportation is available for Hampshire and Burlington Township residents; must call ahead with at least 72 hours advance notice.

Provides a full-service public library offering Book, CD, DVDs, video and other materials, adult and children's programs that include storytimes, toddler times, and Summer Reading Program, computer services and internet access, voter registration, tax forms, copier access, Book mobile services for Aurora schools, Reference and informational services.

Offers connection to local community resources, including local resources for rent and medication assistance.

Resale/thrift stores that sell tools, household items, furniture, clothing, shoes and boots, kitchenware, electronics, toys, books, and movies. Donations are accepted at stores when open.

Provides emergency food and gas vouchers to permanent Story County residents who are experiencing a financial crisis or emergency.

Offers furniture and housewares. May include appliances, furniture, housewares, toys, luggage, etc. depending on availability.

Works with youth who are homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless. Works together with youth to identify and obtain housing, work on retaining that housing, connect to supports and resources, and to address the issues which led them to the homeless situation.
