Advises and aids veterans and their dependents in applying for federal benefits through compensation or pension claims. Emergency financial assistance for basic necessities such as rent, mortgage interests payments, utilities, and burial expense may be available. Can also assists with applications for benefits made available by federal, state or local laws.

Anonymous reporting to law enforcement concerning crimes that have happened or will happen.

Offers to assist youth and young adults to become independent through. Providing support, career exploration, assessment, and planning skill development for workplace employment through nationally recognized certificates. Assistance for accommodations needed for success in employment. Job coaching and placement provided as needed.

Work locations are selected to best suit the interests or vocational training needs of each individual. Business partners are established in Champaign,  Mahomet, Rantoul, Urbana, and throughout Champaign County where our youth and young adults reside.

Offers a recovery hotline open to anyone needing substance abuse support resources and services.

Provides food and personal hygiene grooming products, including diapers, to families in need. Food vouchers to local grocery stores for fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, milk, bread, potatoes, cheese, laundry soap, dish soap and toilet paper may also be available.

Provides the following counseling services, evaluations, individual therapy, couples therapy, family counseling, child and adolescent services, elderly services, medication management and tele-mental health, psychiatric care via video conferencing.

Focuses on eviction prevention, landlord and tenant mediation, and information regarding tenant rights and obligations in the state of Nebraska. While this program provides consultation related to the Landlord/Tenant Law, it does not provide legal advice.

Program services include rental assistance up to HUD Fair Market Rent allowance and case management. Can remain on program as long as eligibility requirements are met.

State agency that has responsibility for enforcing state laws, investigating crimes, providing laboratory analysis of criminal evidence, gathering and sharing criminal intelligence, and providing expertise and resources to other law enforcement agencies throughout the state.

Senior Centers offer a variety of programs for senior citizens, including center meals, exercise classes, outreach, information and assistance, social activities, and home delivered meals. Some might offer blood pressure screenings or foot care clinics.

- Chronic disease management for diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol

- Nutrition and weight loss counseling

- Treatment for acute illnesses and injuries

Food pantry, typically providing a week's worth of food for a family of four.  By appointment for seniors only.  Call the Wednesday before Thursday pantry to schedule appointment between 1-3 pm. Located next to Central Middle School. Go to 120th and L, turn right at Anne Street. Head west, turn left at the church. Go to the Far South Entrance of the church, under the permanent triangle shaped awning. Those who arrive early have the best chance at having more choices.

Provides peer recovery and support services for those going through or dealing with a mental health issue. Support is also offered to family members.

Provides library services and loans of a variety of library materials including books, audio, video, games, downloadable materials, a seed library, and a Library of Things including tech devices, musical instruments, and more.

Collects property taxes, conducts annual tax sale for delinquent taxes, processes vehicle transactions, issues driver's licenses, and issues motor vehicle titles and registrations. ***All Driver License Services By Appointment Only

Volunteer drivers provide rides to cancer patients. It can take several days to coordinate your ride, so please call well in advance.  Clients must be able to walk unassisted; walkers and canes qualify for walking unassisted.

HIV and sexually transmitted disease testing and education.

Hepatitis C testing and treatment.

Provides recorded information on product safety recalls and consumer products.

Consumers may contact the agency to file complaints on an unsafe product or product-related injury.
