Offers an employment program for adults that are neurodiverse. Each client develops their own individualized program plan based on needs and skills. Services include resume and cover letter building assistance, job shadowing, job search assistance, mock interviews and training in specific fields using virtual reality. Once a client finds a job, a Job Coach will work with them to ensure a smooth transition and continued support.

Focuses on maintaining the environmental quality and health and safety of the community by enforcing local, state, and federal regulations related to water, sewage disposal, and other public health concerns. The program includes services such as financial assistance for abandoned well closures and on-site wastewater systems. Additionally, it ensures compliance with laws that mandate minimum standards for home sanitation, maintenance, occupancy, lighting, ventilation, and safety. Health inspectors conduct evaluations to verify the availability of hot and cold water, proper functioning of toilets and sewage disposal systems, structural integrity of roofs and walls, safe repair of interior features, and the absence of pests or rubbish. Citations are issued to landlords who fail to meet these requirements.

Administers the Illinois Human Rights Act, which prohibits discrimination because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status (with regard to employment), familial status (with regard to real estate transactions), age, marital status, physical or mental disability, military service, and unfavorable military discharge. The website includes forms, instructions, and links to numerous other related websites as well as detailed information on how the discrimination charge process works.

Also maintains a helpline for assistance specifically with sexual harassment and discrimination.

Childhood and adult vaccines and flu shots available.

Identifies disadvantaged youth in grades 6-12 who have potential for post-secondary education, and encourages them to graduate from secondary schools and enroll in post-secondary education.

Services may include after school and tutorial homework assistance, career exploration activities, providing and assisting in completion of the ACT, college campus tours, and academic advising.

Staff encourages high school dropouts to return to school.

Provides support groups for anyone who is parenting. Groups are a tool for relieving stress by allowing parents to discuss issues they are going through. These groups are a way for parents to find community and support.

Supportive home for those recovering from drug and alcohol addiction; residents must abide by the rules of the home, including never using drugs or alcohol while a resident. Homes may house men, women, women with children, or men with children.
