Provides private duty nursing or other healthcare support clinicians when requested by the client.
BCMW Community Services - North Locust Centralia Office
Provides information and referrals to area agencies that offer support services to the Washington and Marion County residents.
USDA Rural Development - Area 10
Offers programs to assist families and individuals in rural America with financing, mortgage payment assistance, and opportunities to buy, build, repair, or own safe and affordable homes.
Additionally, the service provides access to information about privately owned rental housing options available at below-market rates, including government-subsidized housing and low-income/subsidized private rental housing. These housing options may include units developed or improved with public funds, income-based rental housing, and fixed below-market rate rental housing, benefiting low-income households, older adults, people with disabilities, and other special populations.
Hardin County Family Services and Emergency Food Pantry
LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) provides supplemental help for the winter heating bills November 1st through April 30th: LIHEAP Crisis Assistance when funding available provides in a life-threatening situation fuel, heaters, furnace repair; furnace replacement for homeowners when funds available. Applications are accepted October 1-April 30 for elderly or disabled households and November 1-April 30 for all other households. May have some crisis funding available outside the normal LIHEAP months, call local County Outreach Office for availability of funding.

Scott County Health Department
The Healthy Pregnancy (Maternal Health) Program offers free support, education, and resources to pregnant people and new parents. Helps with: applying for Medicaid health insurance; finding health care providers in Cedar, Clinton, Jackson, and Scott Counties; scheduling health care appointments; connecting to community resources and services; health screenings and referrals; social assessments and guidance; dental screenings, fluoride varnish application, and oral health education; breast/chest feeding education and support; health education and support; transportation; and interpretation services.

Montgomery County General Assistance
Rent and utilities assistance may be available. Must have an eviction notice for rent assistance, and must have disconnect notice for utility assistance. Does not help with first month's rent or security deposits for rental homes.
Indigent burial assistance (cremation).Payee services for Social Security/Disability recipients which uses funds to pay rent, utilities, nursing home. Assigned by courts or Social Security Administration.
Emergency food assistance (works through local food pantries). Does not offer food vouchers.

VITA Tax Site - Good Neighbor Center
Provides free tax credit clinics and prepares free federal and state income taxes for low to moderate income households.
Starting January 15, 2026, visit https://vita.unl.edu to schedule an appointment. Tax appointments begin Feb 1 and run through Apr 10 and are available at multiple sites in Lincoln. To see the days and times for all the locations, visit the website to download the site schedule.
Must make an appointment.
When scheduling an appointment, choose a site location and date. All location will be face-to-face; virtual preparation is available in addition to facilitated self-assistance (schedule an appointment under the 'Need Assistance' tab).
If Lincoln Public School and/or UNL is closed due to bad weather, all VITA sites are closed.
The scope of work that can be done within the VITA site is defined by the IRS. If a return is considered "out of scope" for the site, VITA Volunteers will not be able to prepare the return.

Ames Parks and Recreation
Provides park and recreational services to the residents of Ames. The Department manages 40 parks and offers almost 200 programs and activities throughout the year. Programs include swim lessons, fitness and wellness classes, youth and adult sports, and more.
