Work includes sealing air infiltration leaks, high-density insulation, health and safety check, heating system repair or replacement, water heaters repair or replacement. Some minor repair is allowable for health and safety reasons.

Advocates for quality child care and assists providers in developing health and safety policies.

Offers a pantry where both food and clothing are made available to those in need. 

Crisis/emergency services for victims of domestic violence, elder abuse, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking and human trafficking.

Services include case management, shelter referral and placement, protection order applications, legal/court advocacy, and initial financial assistance during an emergency (based on availability of funding - might include legal fees, rent/utility assistance, diapers, lock changes, food, etc.).

Housing assistance includes emergency and long term options in a addition to assistance with food, clothing, education, employment, counseling, medical and dental care-with or without insurance, legal assistance to citizens and immigrants.

Limited financial assistance provided to prevent rent eviction or utility disconnection. May also assist with rent or utility deposit, where appropriate. Utility assistance can also include cell phone bill help. 

First apply for assistance at the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (through ACCESSNebraska at www.accessnebraska.ne.gov) for an eligibility determination and referrals to community agencies with Letter of Eligibility, then schedule an appointment with the Community Service Coordinator.

Provides an 8-session, peer-led education program, open to adult family members, significant others, or friends of people who live with mental illness. The course is taught by trained family members of people living with mental illness.

Offers support to local schools by providing Educational Services, Information and Technology, and Special Education.
