Provide outpatient therapy, outpatient psychiatry, psychiatric evaluations, and group therapy to children and adults for individual, group, marital, and play therapy. Services include substance abuse counseling, support groups, and medication-based treatment for substance use disorders, which combines approved medications with counseling and behavioral therapies to help individuals reduce or eliminate dependency on opioids or alcohol.

Services include:

- Long term residential placement for youth 10-18 years of age. Outpatient substance abuse treatment and therapy services are available for youth placed in the long-term residential program.

- Behavioral health services for youth 5-18 years of age depending on the program or service.

- Volunteer mentoring program for 3rd through 12th graders, in math or reading skills.

Provides an outreach programs seeking to assure that limited-English-proficient immigrants and refugees eligible for WIC and SNAP benefits can successfully access these programs administered by IDHS.

The Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (ICIRR) administers this program through a network of community-based partner agencies.

Offers exterior home repairs to homeowners that meet income guidelines, who are unable to make the repairs on their own. Homeowners pay for materials and Habitat volunteers assist with minor improvements like painting, landscaping, exterior door replacements, and accessibility improvements.

Offers, as resources allow, to help refugees and asylees reach economic self-sufficiency and to them with any problems, interests and concerns they may have. The Bureau of Refugee Services works to serve as a central clearinghouse in order to refer refugees and asylees to any resource necessary and available to them. The Bureau is the service agency for all refugees enrolled in FIP, the state welfare reform program. Now offering a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) program. This program will help participants prepare for the class, enroll into the DMACC CDL program at no cost, and obtain a job after completion. Participants will also qualify for “Jump Start” training specially designed to help English Language Learners.

Offers help to first and second-time parents managing the demands of caring for a child during the first three years of life. Family-support workers visit the home to encourage new parents by building on their strengths, emphasizing the joys of parenting and easing concerns with education and hands-on assistance. Services can start before the baby is born with prenatal home visits by a doula.

Provides substance use disorder treatment services. Services include suboxone medication treatment (MAT Services) and group therapy with a doctor, counselor and others going through the treatment program.

To use the Drop Off Services

- Stop by the HACAP office Mon-Fri 8 am-4:30 pm to pick up the following to complete at home: Intake form 13614-C, drop off consent form and tax envelope. Complete the forms in the envelope, write your name and phone number on the provided tax envelope ***(include intake form, drop off consent form, last years tax return, copies of ID and SSN and all tax documents)***, place envelope and all information in the drop box, wait for Tax Site to call and tell you that your return is ready to be picked up (approximately 2 weeks) Those looking to get their taxes done MUST have a copy of their taxes from last year. Transcripts for last years taxes can be obtained for FREE by either visiting the website, IRS.gov, or by calling (800) 908-9946, turn around time is usually less than a week. A copy of your taxes will cost $50 and takes up to 6 weeks to receive. If you request online you will receive access immediately to print.

Advocates for and monitors the delivery of high quality and appropriate healthcare benefits and services. Provides onRAMP trainings in order to provide disability awareness and information, promote accommodations and ADA compliance, and fulfill professional development requirements for all in the workforce. Interactive trainings are available online, remotely or in person for businesses, community organizations, school districts, centers for independent living, court systems and more. Curriculum and programs are age-appropriate, cross disability, and flexible enough for ease of implementation while meeting mandated standards, including indicator 13 and Transition Plan requirements set forth in the IDEA 2004 and Transition Core requirements for Center for Independent Living.

Offers supported employment opportunities to individuals who have both the desire to work in an integrated work setting and employment abilities for this setting. The two main goals of these services are to give the individuals the opportunity to earn competitive wages and allow these wages to be earned in an integrated work setting. Services may also include vocational training for individuals who require a higher level of care than is available through other Hope Haven programs. Individuals receiving services must have a primary diagnosis of a mental disability and must be certified by the Iowa Foundation for Medical Care to be in need of this level of service.

Offers Child Care Expense Assistance through the Iowa Department of Human services is available to the children of income-eligible parents who are absent for a portion of the day due to employment or participation in academic or vocational training or PROMISE JOBS activities. Provides various programs to assist low-income individuals and families take care of their basic needs. Can also supply information and referrals to local resources in the community.

Mini shelters are available for displaced persons who suffer loss of homes due to fire, tornadoes, transience, domestic disputes, or homelessness. Shelters are guarded and locations are confidential.
