County level services provide direct emergency economic aid for vital necessities to veterans, their widow, and dependents, according to their needs. Personal visits for assistance and claims to housebound veterans or dependents. Must have an honorable or under honorable conditions discharge from active duty or wartime service. Must be a resident in Nebraska for the past one year and 6 months of that year in Keya Paha County.

State level services do not require wartime service. Assist in completing applications for the Nebraska Veterans Aid Fund; fee exempt fishing and hunting permits; applications to the Nebraska Veterans Homes; waivers of tuition.

Educational information offered related to disaster preparedness and recovery, beef cattle production, and cropping and water systems.

Provides evaluation and intervention services that identify developmental needs, deliver and coordinate early childhood special education programs.

Provides education services to homebuyers. Services may include pre-purchase counseling for new and first time homebuyers, money management, credit counseling, and post-purchase counseling on non-delinquency topics like improving mortgage terms and home improvement.

Information about tax accounts. Processes applications for Federal Tax Identification Numbers.

- Taxpayer Advocacy Services provide free, independent, and confidential tax assistance to taxpayers unable to resolve their tax problems through normal channels or individuals experiencing a hardship. Helps individual and business taxpayers resolve problems with the IRS.

Provides financial assistance and education to eligible households with a grocery voucher to meet their meal gaps.

Family Support Workers partner with parents to enhance protective factors within their families through the use of evidence based practices to achieve family permanency, safety, and well-being.

Provides Parenting Time/Supervised Visitation, Family Support Nebraska, and drug testing.

Provides a drive through food pantry to anyone in need, twice per month. 

Provides counselors using standardized tools to help individuals determine treatment goals and types of services that would be appropriate for the client.

Provides property assessment and property value information, as well as Homestead, Veteran, and Family Farm Credit sign up.

Offers housing and supportive services to 12 homeless women veterans in Illinois.

Offers to assist with bathing, personal care, exercise, shopping for food, clothing, meal planning, preparation, house cleaning, laundry assistance, and money management.

Provides free training and education about sexual assault prevention to clients' faculty and/or students. Presentations on the following topics are provided to meet the needs of the group requesting services:

- Personal Safety: Children and teens learn important safety rules about home safety, good and bad strangers, good touch/bad touch, tricky people, and safety when traveling.

- Sexual Harassment (adapted to age level): Topics include "What is it?", "What can I do to stop it?", and "Sexual Harassment: It's Hurting People" (Grades 5-8).

- Bullying: K-1st "It's Not OK to Bully", 2nd-5th "I Was Just Kidding!", 6th-8th "Bullying 101", 8th-12th "Bullies and Harassment on Campus", Teachers and Staff "Strategies for Dealing with Bullies"

- Dating Violence and Healthy Relationships: Recognize warning signs of an unhealthy relationship.

- Sexual Assault and Abuse: Learn common myths, prevalence and effects of sexual assault.

- Mandated Reporting: Learn when to report and how to report.

- RAD Self Defense: Learn self defense skills. For boys and girls (5-11) and women ages 12 and up.

Provides safe and sanitary housing for families who meet income guidelines, older adults, and individuals with disabilities.

Provides police and dispatch services responsible for emergency assessment and response.
