- HiSET and High School Completion Center, providing testing and preparation for high school equivalency.

- Adult Literacy program offering opportunities for adults to enhance literacy skills and refresh basics in reading, writing, and math. Classes are available at various locations in and around Des Moines in collaboration with local schools and organizations.

- Citizenship Education programs that prepare individuals to take the oath of U.S. citizenship and understand the rights and responsibilities of citizenship. These courses help immigrants gain knowledge of American culture, institutions, and ideals, as well as U.S. history, the Constitution, and the structure and functions of government.

- College (core) classes for DMACC's associate degree programs and non-credit classes for personal and professional development.

- Continuing Education classes offered at DMACC.

- Business consulting services.

Police and dispatch services responsible for emergency assessment and response.

Resale/thrift stores that sell tools, household items, furniture, clothing, shoes and boots, kitchenware, electronics, toys, books, and movies. Donations are accepted at stores when open.

Provides primary care to individuals and families, including obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, adolescent, adult, and geriatric medicine.

Provides street maintenance for the city of Newton. 

Provides permanent shared housing for adult women who are transitioning from unstable housing, reentry, healthcare settings, or seeking a safe and stable community living environment. Services include shared rooms, kitchens, and living areas, affordable housing, a drug-free environment for safety, and support for following house rules, while residents take care of their own daily needs and build connections with other women in the home. 

Provides management and maintenance for vital records like birth certificates, death certificates, marriage licenses, land records, and voter registration.

Offers individual and group services to adults struggling with behavioral health problems. Case management, community support services, and some residential services are provided to address issues such as illness management, life skill development, linkage to community resources, and socialization.
