Nebraska Community Blood Bank - Pacific Hills Donor Center
Dedicated to connecting people who need life-saving blood with generous volunteers who give.

Type of advice offered may vary based on funding.
Provides free legal advice, brief service, and representation to low-income people on areas such as: consumer law, family law, housing law, public benefits, disability benefits, employment/unemployment, public benefits, clearing a criminal history and educational rights.
After contacting one of the hotlines, cases may be referred to Legal Aid local offices for extended representation.
Private Attorney Involvement Program links clients to attorneys in their local area for free legal services in family law matters.
Taxpayer clinics educate low-income taxpayers about their tax rights and responsibilities and how to file for low-income tax credit.
Homeless Assistance Project (Douglas and Lancaster Counties) provides assistance with family law, child support modification, bankruptcy, license revocation, and disability claims.
Migrant Worker program provides civil legal services to migrant farm workers.
Housing counseling assists people who are homeless by making referrals and assessing their legal needs. Assists renters who are having problems getting things fixed, need help with landlord issues, or are facing eviction; work with HUD issues; assist home buyers or home owners with questions, etc.

Provides community housing and psychiatric rehabilitation services for adults with serious and persistent mental illness and children (age six and older) and adolescents with severe emotional disturbances. The organization offers:
- Group homes.

Lutheran Child and Family Services of Illinois
Provides short-term assistance to relatives or close family supporters (fictive kin) who have been caring for a child/children informally. Relative caregivers receive assistance in obtaining guardianship of the child for whom they are providing care. Also helps resolve any crisis the family may be facing and prepares the relative caregivers to achieve permanency for the child as well as for them. Services aim to prevent children's entry into out-of-home care and help children achieve permanency.
Additionally, families are provided with financial assistance, if needed, to address needs such as clothing for the child(ren), additional needed furniture to accommodate the child(ren) such as mattresses, beds, and linen, and helping the child(ren) to be enrolled in school by acquiring birth certificates of child(ren). Also helps family identify appropriate additional benefits to which they may be entitled.
Services may include:
-- Assistance in obtaining guardianship.
-- Education on navigating the court system and proceedings.
-- Help obtaining a child-only grant, subsidized day care and other entitlements.
-- Guidance on enrolling children in local schools.
-- Assistance with financial and housing issues.
-- Cash and in-kind assistance to help meet the basic needs of the family.
-- Referral linkages to other needed community resources including legal services, and medical and mental health services.

Offers supported community living and respite services for persons with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or physical disabilities to assist them in living, learning, working, and socializing as independently as possible in their communities.
