Provides a support group for those who have lost a loved one or friend to suicide. These meetings offer a place to talk about memories, ongoing grief, and the stigma surrounding death by suicide. Meetings are held at the GuideLink Center 300 Southgate Avenue, Iowa City, IA 52240 on every first Thursday of each month from 7 pm-8:30 pm.  

Provides education and consumer assistance designed to facilitate enrollment of county residents in the Illinois Health Insurance Marketplace. People in need of assistance due to language barriers, technology disadvantages, or a lack of understanding of health insurance can arrange to meet a counselor in person to assist them.

Provides programs and services to support the health of children and families.

Program includes family case management, WIC, and breastfeeding education and support.

The Garner Police Department provides law enforcement services for the City of Garner, including responding to emergency assistance requests through a 911 telephone response service staffed by trained personnel who assess situations and dispatch the appropriate emergency response agencies.

Offers behavioral health services to any child or adolescent in need. Services include psychiatry/medication management, individual therapy, family therapy, substance use disorder services/addiction treatment, crisis services (24/7 Crisis Line, Mobile Crisis, CSCBS), case management, peer support, care team/specialized services, and school-based services (where applicable).

Offers several programs specifically designed to assist new farmers. Programs such as the Beginning Farmer Loan Program assists new farmers in acquiring farmland, buildings, machinery, equipment, or breeding livestock at reduced interest rates. Beginning Farmer Tax Credit Program offers an incentive to landowners for leasing their farmland, machinery, or equipment to beginning farmers. Loan Participation Program helps secure down payment assistance for an agricultural purchase. 

A free, in-school instruction program provided directly in the classroom by Independent Living Advocates, covering a wide range of important skills and topics young adults need to succeed on the "fast track" to independence. Staff instructs students in these 5 areas (and more):

- Introduction to Self-Advocacy.

- Job Exploration Counseling.

- Counseling on Post-Secondary Education.

- Workplace Readiness Training.

- Work-Based Learning Experiences.

Vocational training and job placement for developmentally disabled.

Community living training.

In-home support.

Shelter workshops and integrated work environments.

Food pantry.

Offers emergency assistance for rent and utilities for residents of Riley Township. Can receive help once every 12 months.
