Offers a program for parents and youth individuals ages 10-14 to work together and build relationships. Participants will practice skills, play learning games, and do family projects in highly interactive sessions. Sessions are designed to increase family bonding, build positive communication skills, and solve problems together. 

Offers to help individuals develop abilities and skills to be successful in roles within their chosen living, learning and social environments.

Provides an opportunity for a caregiver to receive appropriate, temporary, substitute care and supervision of a functionally impaired person. Aim is to enable the caregiver to maintain his or her support/assistance to the older person. Respite services can be used for a variety of reasons such as a day out with friends, to attend church, vacation, and attend support group meetings.

RAMP works with students and their families to learn the laws that protect the rights of a student with a disability, how to navigate the maze of community services, and to learn the skills required to achieve their goals.

Services include legal rights training, self-advocacy skills training, peer support, independent living skills training, transition planning guidance, educational workshops, and assistance with letter writing.

- Mobile Medical Clinic services, in which a van visits different locations to see patients.

- Provides confidential HIV/AIDS testing and counseling.

- Transportation program provides a limited number of cab vouchers.

- Mental health services are provided in-house through a partnership with Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska, as well as being referred out to collaborating behavioral health agencies.

- Medication assistance programs help uninsured and underinsured patients apply to various pharmaceutical companies, to obtain their medication at an affordable cost.

For youth who are at risk for, or who have committed law violations, the program provides positive development opportunities to prevent subsequent law violations and prepare them to live successfully in the community. Youth receive support in the areas of education, employment, basic living skills, crisis stabilization, and healthy relationships. Programs include electronic monitoring, community youth coaching, family support, and in-home family services.

Works to prevent unintentional injury to our community’s children.

Provides adult education classes, in home safety and child passenger safety. Also provides a variety of injury prevention education for ages 3-19. Public health educators are available to present safety information upon request.

Assists the residents of Sarpy and Cass counties in understanding and implementing strategies to prevent unintentional childhood injury.
