Assists with the following cases: -Family Law (divorce, paternity, child support, custody, guardianship). -Housing (foreclosure & landlord/tenant disputes). -Consumer law (fraud, contract disputes, identity theft, debt collection). -Employment law (unlawful termination, discrimination, wage disputes). -Probate issues (asset distribution after death). -Expungement/Sealing of prior criminal records. -Human Trafficking and Immigrant victims of abuse of violent crime. Offers Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day meals at Crossroads Mission Avenue. Meals start at 1 pm.

Provides comprehensive support services for individuals and families facing mental health or behavioral challenges. Families build a personalized support team that may include professionals, service providers, friends, mentors, and other trusted individuals. 

Offers free pap smears, mammograms, and manual breast examinations for the early detection of breast cancer.

Provides weatherization services to make homes more energy efficient through health and safety checks including furnaces, insulation, water heaters and sealing doorways and windows. Inefficient heating components may be repaired or replaced.

Offers to sell new and used home improvement materials to the public at discounted prices. All proceeds from ReStore benefit the mission of Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity. Donations: Materials in the store are donated from the public and private sector, and include such items as cabinets, lighting and plumbing fixtures, doors, lumber, flooring, paint, and windows. 

- Provides funds to purchase wheelchairs for individuals of any age who are legally blind.

- Helps individuals who are legally blind with certain costs associated with obtaining a guide dog or assistance dog.

- Provides individualized products, devices, and services based on the consumer's needs.

Provides food and other household goods to non-profit organizations, who then provides these items to individuals in need. 

Advises and aids veterans and their dependents in applying for federal benefits through compensation or pension claims. Can also assists with applications for benefits made available by federal, state or local laws, including burial benefits.

Offers mental health assessments and outpatient counseling for adults, couples, teens, children and families.

Offers chemical dependency assessments and outpatient services.

Provides up to $150 to families for utilities, diapers, groceries, gas for vehicles, and other needs.

Provides mental health services designed to meet the needs of older adults. Following an individual assessment, participants meet up to three times per week in a supportive, encouraging group setting. Individual therapy sessions are also offered, along with medication management and regular check-ins. The program also offers teletherapy services, allowing patients to get the mental health support they need from the comfort of their homes using a telephone, computer, or tablet device. Anyone can refer a patient to the program, including a healthcare professional, family member, or friend.
