Qualified families apply for partnership with Habitat based on three criteria: need for housing, ability to pay, and willingness to partner. Through the program, participants receive financial and homeowner education, one-on-one guidance through the process, and complete program requirements. After completing program requirements, families purchase their home with an affordable mortgage. **Does not offer emergency housing, financial assistance with rent, mortgage or rental housing options.

The program also offers teletherapy services, allowing patients to get the mental health support they need from the comfort of their homes using a telephone, computer, or tablet device. Anyone can refer a patient to the program, including a healthcare professional, family member, or friend.
