Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County
Builds safe, affordable houses for qualified homebuyers. Each Habitat home is built in partnership with homeowner families, sponsors, and volunteers. These are sold to the partner family whom repays an affordable mortgage over 20 years. Homeowners attend a series of workshops on financial literacy and home maintenance so they are well-prepared to be homeowners.

House of Compassion
Provides Vouchers for prescriptions to those in need. Vouchers can only be used for prescription medications. The House of Compassion has agreements with HyVee Grocery Pharmacy, HyVee Drugstore, NuCara Pharmacy and Walmart Pharmacy.

Humane Society of Northeast Iowa
Provides fostering and adoption services for dogs and cats. Also provides education on the humane treatment of animals through public events. The center welcomes volunteers and relies on donations to continue to provide services. Lower cost micro-chipping and registration services are also available at the center.

Southern Seven Health Department - Alexander County
Vaccinations for all ages. The Vaccines for Children (VFC) program is a federally funded, state administered program that provides vaccines to eligible children. Children who are not eligible for VFC will be screened for insurance or private pay. Flu vaccines also available.

Offered to patients of all ages and is often ordered for the patient who is too weak or too ill to travel to the hospital or outpatient clinic.
