Offers the following support groups: Alcoholics Anonymous,  Alzheimer's Caregivers Support Group, GriefShare, and Special session "Surviving the Holidays" in November.

Offers library services to the residents of Perry and surrounding areas. Services include the circulation of books, videos, DVDs, audio and CD books, downloadable audio and ebooks, puzzles and magazines. Public access to computers and the internet are also available.

Emergency operations center for the County, which handles emergency response incidents, including accidents, fires, floods, storms and other disasters. Also responsible for requesting federal assistance after a disaster.

Offers assessments and 26-week psycho-educational group services for individuals who use power and control in their intimate relationships. Additionally, provides guidance and support for obtaining protective or restraining orders to ensure legal protection against harassment, stalking, or violence in situations involving domestic abuse, child abuse, elder abuse, sexual assault, or other forms of harm.

Volunteer tutors for adults, available to native speakers of English seeking to improve literacy skills and those learning English as a new language (English Language Learners).

One to one instruction is available for learners desiring to work at their own pace and/or on a specific skill area.

Small group tutoring is offered through programs organized around students of particular cultures, needs, or goals (Citizenship, Family Literacy, and Workforce Readiness for Refugees, GED Prep and CNA Prep), and in programs to develop vocabulary and skills in a specific subject area (Computer Literacy). Additionally, family literacy programs are available for adult English language learners and their preschool and early elementary age children.

Free conversation groups provide a forum for students to practice their skills in listening and speaking English. Tutors facilitate the groups by giving students discussion topics, vocabulary and dialogue practice.

Volunteer tutors are trained through a 3-5-hour program covering learning styles, adult language acquisition and lesson development. Persons 18 years or older are invited to become tutors and LL members. A minimum commitment of one year is requested for volunteer tutors.

Program provides support to pregnant and post partum women and their infants and  children including medical and nutrition education, home visits, and resource referral information for promotion of proper growth and development of infants and children.

Guides families through their child’s journey with a medical condition. Works with doctors, schools and community groups to create a seamless support system.

Care coordination team works together with families to develop a plan of care that addresses a child’s medical, social, behavioral, educational and financial needs. Care coordination is free for all children who have eligible medical conditions, regardless of their family’s income level.

Care coordination can include finding specialized medical care, helping families understand their child’s diagnosis and medical treatment plan, explaining insurance benefits and attending school meetings.

Helps children who are medically fragile remain in their family home rather than a hospital or skilled nursing facility.

Assists with:

- Finding specialized medical care

- Making sure families understand their child’s diagnosis and medical treatment plan

- Helping families understand their insurance benefits and maximize their coverage

- Attending IEP /504 Plan school meeting

- Connecting families with financial support, grants and other community resources

- Preparing for the transition to adulthood

Offers a grief support group for individuals and families who have experienced a loss.

Offers a matching fund program to help with utility bills for Ameren customers only.

Provides early childhood education and summer camp opportunities for children. Y-Tots Preschool has morning and afternoon classes for children ages 3-4. Lovett Child development center offers full time and part time childcare for children ages 2-Pre-K. Before school and after school adventure club        provides childcare and activities for school-aged children. Summer day camp is offered full time and part time for school aged children. 

Provides voluntary home visiting services that offers family support and coaching for expectant parents and parents of young children ages birth to 3. The program provides guidance about child development, child safety, practical parenting skills, and family bonding. Provides regular visits based on the family's needs, preferences, and schedules. Visits may be in-person or virtual.

Provides care that includes residential treatment, outpatient treatment, sober living, crisis care, and prevention education. These programs address mental health and substance use disorders, as well as co-occurring disorders, and have a strong family component to involve parents, guardians, and other loved ones in the journey to healing when appropriate.

Services include:

- Partial Hospitalization Program.

Offers eyeglasses and hearing aids to those in need that do not have adequate resources with a referral from program or agency. Assists blind persons in obtaining guide dogs and Braille typewriters.

Offers HAWK-I which provides the CHIP benefits (Children's Health Insurance Program) which offers health care insurance coverage for Iowa children in families with limited incomes. Depending on the size of the family Hawk-I is from free to no more than $40.00 per month; See website for income guidelines.

Offers a residential therapeutic program to human trafficking survivors who are girls age 14-18.

Programming includes:

- Access to comprehensive medical care and healthy living practices.

- Personalized therapy and emotional support for healing.

- Academic support tailored to individual learning needs.

- Guidance in trust-building, boundaries, and communication, including family therapy and support for parents or caregivers of survivors.

- Life skills and job training, teaching practical skills for independence and career success.
