Offers a coaching model to provide intensive mentorships and role-model support to students. Advising specialists provide direct service and guidance to students, starting from a student’s junior year of high school and continuing through college graduation.

Youth Academic Navigators are education-focused case managers who check in with students frequently and help with issues as they emerge to ensure students are making progress and earning credits in school.

Tutoring and elective classes offered for students who need academic assistance or alternative ways to earn high school credit.  Certified teachers specialize in creating a small, caring classroom environment with a focus on individual students and their success.

Career Navigators assist students with postsecondary planning and connections for both career and educational opportunities.  Services are also available to graduates.

Reengagement Partnership with Omaha Public Schools staff members to reengage students who have withdrawn from school but are eligible to enroll.  The Career Navigator also partners with OPS Multiple Pathways programs to provide services in postsecondary planning and connections to students in these programs.

Military Interstate Children's Compact Commission | Military Interstate Children's Compact Commission

Serves as the governing body of the Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children (ICEOMC) and works to ease the educational transitions of school-aged, military and uniform-connected students attending public and Department of Defense schools.

The Compact is an agreement among states, “a contract”, to abide by a specific set of administrative rules regarding a particular concern or issue – in this instance, the interstate transfer of military, school-aged youth attending public and Department of Defense schools worldwide. The interstate commission is a quasi-governmental, regulatory body, whose governance is led by member states, and administrated independent of federal intervention.

The Compact also addresses key issues encountered by military families: eligibility, enrollment, placement, and graduation. In addition, the Compact provides for a detailed governance structure at both the state and national levels with built-in enforcement and compliance mechanisms. The goal of the Compact is to replace the widely varying policies affecting transitioning military students.

Free ISAC resources include:

- ISAC Student Portal: Provides free online tools to help with college and scholarship search, financial aid planning, money management, and career and job searches.

- ISACorps: ISAC's statewide near-peer mentors are recent college graduates who are expertly trained to provide students and families with free assistance with the college planning and financial aid process, including assistance finding scholarships and grants, as well as help completing college and financial aid applications.

- ISAC College Q&A: A free text messaging service allowing students and families to text questions about college planning and financial aid to ISAC experts.
