Identifies disadvantaged youth in grades 6-12 who have potential for post-secondary education, and encourages them to graduate from secondary schools and enroll in post-secondary education.

Services may include after school and tutorial homework assistance, career exploration activities, providing and assisting in completion of the ACT, college campus tours, and academic advising.

Staff encourages high school dropouts to return to school.

ESL (English as a Second Language) classes are 'open entry' throughout the year, providing instruction in English speaking, reading, writing, and listening for adults who range in ability from absolute non-speakers of English to those who are nearly fluent.

College enrollment services:
Academic Advising provides assistance with the entry and re-entry into college (2 year or 4 year institutions), information about post-secondary education, assistance with the college application process, and assistance preparing for college entrance examinations (SAT, ACT, and Compass).

Financial Aid offers information about financial aid opportunities, assistance with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA), and scholarship search.

Several free services are designed to help program participants understand their educational options, and navigate the college admissions and financial aid process. Focuses on a diverse population of first-generation students and veterans.

Assists eligible participants with overcoming educational and financial barriers with comprehensive, individualized support through collaboration with students, families, educational institutions and community agencies to provide a path to educational success.

Program designed to make college admission and success possible for students from low-income backgrounds by providing the tools, strategies and support needed to navigate and overcome challenges to college graduation.

Uses a near-peer coaching model, powered by AmeriCorps, to provide intensive mentorships and role-model support to students. AmeriCorps coaches are recent college graduates who provide direct service and guidance to students through every stage of the college process from college admission to enrollment and persistence, starting from a student's junior year of high school and continuing through college graduation.

Provides the following coaching services to eligible students:

-- College search and application guidance;

-- Financial literacy and financial aid consulting;

-- Enrollment and high school-to-college transition coaching, including identifying academic interests and majors;

-- Building social-emotional learning skills;

-- Professional communications and mentorship;

-- Academic expectations and responsibilities;

-- Connection to campus resources and opportunities.

All services are provided at no cost to students or their families.
