Clients can access job listings, resume and cover letter writing guides, interview tips, labor market information, and access to the internet. Services may be provided directly or through referrals to partner agencies. Financial assistance is available for eligible individuals for up to two years of job training or vocational education in high-growth fields approved by the Workforce Investment Board of Region 15. Eligibility is determined through a vocational assessment. Some individuals may be referred to other financial aid sources, while others may receive funding from this program. After training, participants receive staff-assisted job search support, followed by up to one year of follow-up services after job placement. Training services are available to eligible youth (with a high school diploma or GED), adults, and dislocated workers.
