Provides home visits 1-2 times a month to do medication set-up, health assessments, blood draws for lab tests and other health interventions.

Also offers the Lifeline personal emergency response system units to individuals and families. The Medical Alert Button provides access to trained care specialists 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days of the year.

Assists Nebraskans who are 60 years and over or have a disability and/or their representatives in accessing services and supports to allow the person to live as independently as possible in the setting of their choice. ADRC staff are available by phone or in person to assist in accessing resources based on the person’s needs and preferences.  This may include providing information and referrals for services such as housing, personal care, transportation, food and nutrition, public benefits, therapies, employment, etc.

LIHEAP aids qualifying low-income Iowa households (homeowners and renters) in the payment of a portion of their residential heating costs for the winter heating season, to encourage regular utility payments and promote energy awareness, and to encourage reduction of energy usage through energy efficiency and client education.

Provides transportation service to the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center (Lovell FHCC) for honorably discharged veterans who have a medical appointment at the facility. The service may include transportation expense assistance, such as financial support or resources for individuals who lack other means of transportation. A family member may be permitted to ride along to assist the veteran.
