Offers vaccines and information for individuals in need to answer questions, or misinformation about certain vaccines. Services include flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccines, and other vaccines may be offered under this program. 

Provides day programs for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Services include vocational training and community employment, community outreach, developmental training, and in home supports.

Provides perishable and non-perishable food available for individuals in the community.

Provides assistance to travelers stranded in Tuscola with gas money, food, and hotel vouchers may be available. 

Provides volunteers to help children in school with learning skills such as reading, spelling, mathematics, writing, and social skills.

Emergency operations center for the County, which handles emergency response incidents, including accidents, fires, floods, storms and other disasters. Also responsible for requesting federal assistance after a disaster.

Provides independent living housing for individuals who are in transition and working to rebuild their lives. This includes veterans, individuals experiencing homelessness, and independent seniors seeking a stable and supportive environment.

Provides health care services for care of acute and chronic illness. Services can include breast exams and pap smears, immunizations, flu, and pneumonia shots, pregnancy testing, physicals for school, sports, and work, and sexually transmitted disease tests and treatment.

Services to help survivors of domestic violence, older adults, people with disabilities, and immigrant survivors of violence and trafficking:

- Orders of Protection for people experiencing domestic violence.

- Divorce, custody, or child support in cases involving domestic violence or child endangerment.

- Elder abuse, including financial exploitation.

- Other court orders to stop abuse, harassment, or stalking.

- Immigration issues faced by survivors of domestic violence and trafficking.

- Guardianships of minors and adults to ensure safety and stability.

Provides services to couples and singles in all three programs:

- Agency Assisted Adoption: Includes home study and collaborating with another agency to place through the partnering agency.

- General Domestic Adoption Program: Includes home study and placement of infants, also offer the Sayers Center program which seeks to find homes for African American babies and promote adoption awareness within the African American community.

- Intercountry Program: Includes home study and working with another agency internationally.

Provides guidance and support during periods of match and placement. Conducts post placement visits and reporting in accordance with the placing state or country's requirements.

Provides therapists and medical providers offering mental and behavioral health services to children, teens, and adults. Therapists work one-on-one with clients to evaluate and address issues such as depression, addiction, generalized anxiety disorder, or other behavioral disorders through counseling sessions. Nurse practitioners and psychiatrists can prescribe and monitor medications and provide therapy.

Personal emergency response service (Medical Alert) that gets help at the push of a small button.

Focuses on creating anti-smoking, anti-tobacco policy. Health Educator also works with high school students interested in policy change with regard to tobacco.

Health Educator attends health fairs, community events, and meetings to promote all health department programs and initiatives.
