Provides assistance for stray cats and dogs, barking dogs, biting incidents, and the capture of domestic or wild animals posing a health or safety threat.

Thanksgiving Food Boxes for low-income households in Otoe County who need extra help with groceries. Basic food items for a Thanksgiving dinner are provided.

- Name, request for a Thanksgiving pantry, number of adults and children in the household, phone number.

All pantry requests must be received by Nov 18 by 4 pm.

Pantries can be picked up Mon, Nov 24 from 8:30 am-3 pm.

Provides an emergency department, physical rehabilitation, skilled nursing, surgical services, diabetes education, lab, etc.

Provides short-term emergency type assistance to individuals lacking the resources to meet their basic needs. It is not intended to provide on-going, long-term aid to any individual and/or family. Funds cannot be used for any utility or rent deposits. Funds cannot be used to reconnect utilities once disconnected.

Offers free GED classes and testing, GED testing is available at the main campus only.

Offers to work with surrounding communities and businesses to develop procedures and preparations in the case of an emergency or disaster. Services include droughts, earthquakes, floods, large-scale fires, tornadoes, and winter storms. As well as man-made hazards such as civil disorder incidents, hazardous material incidents, major transportation accidents, nuclear power plant accidents, pollution and sanitation problems, and terrorism incidents. 

Specially trained community volunteers are appointed by Juvenile Court Judges to speak in the best interest of children who are brought before the court for reasons of abuse or neglect.

- The volunteer CASA then investigates, monitors, and reports on that case.

- Through their investigation, they provide a written report to the court detailing what is happening on the case and any recommendations for the best interest of the child they have.
