Offers community presentations on sexual integrity, sexual education and parenting. Presentations are tailored to meet the needs and ages of the group/organization requesting the presentation.

Provides small group facilitation. Trained prevention specialists work with school staff to tailor groups that meet the needs of the school's population, available during and after school.

Topics include bullying and cyber bullying, protective behaviors, making and keeping friends, study skills and organizations, anger management, conflict resolution, and tolerance and diversity.

Offers early learning education services. Services work to help infants, toddlers, and preschoolers to develop intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally.

Provides in-home case management as well as 24-hour response to emergencies. Services include a case manager who will monitor individuals weekly to ensure they are linked with the necessary resources and referrals for both inpatient and outpatient drug treatment programs. Services may also include weekly in-home and out-of-home counseling for adults, children, couples, and families. Families may also be referred to a number of community-based services, including medical services, counseling, drug or alcohol treatment support groups, food pantries, housing, employment training, and continuing education programs. 

Offers Child Care Expense Assistance through the Iowa Department of Human services is available to the children of income-eligible parents who are absent for a portion of the day due to employment or participation in academic or vocational training or PROMISE JOBS activities. Offers items such as wheelchairs, walkers, tub handrails, crutches and other assistive equipment and items. After 30 days client must return item or contact the public health nurse if needed for a longer period of time.

Weatherization services include a cost-effectiveness energy audit, air leakage checks, insulation, and all combustion appliances inspection for repair and/or replacement.

Offers child care, preschool, before/after school, school days out, and summer programs, as well as Early Head Start.

Provides a maternity home (NOT A SHELTER) dedicated to the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of single pregnant mothers, girls that are not pregnant but have an infant, or girls who are pregnant with another young child (infant) with them. It is a safe haven where they can stay while learning the skills they need to make a better life for themselves and their babies.

Holiday program offering shoes, mittens, hats and socks for children.

Registration starts in early October and end November 15th, 2025. The event is held Saturday, December 6th, from 9 am-1 pm. Location is 3100 West 4th Street, Sioux City, IA. 

There will be no pre-registration, and the event will take walk-ins only. This will be on a first-come, first-served basis and only while supplies last. Shoes will not be given out before or after this event. Child must be present at the event to be fitted with shoes and in kindergarten - 8th grade.

Transportation assistance program and co-pay assistance program.

Telephone support group and traditional support groups are available for patients and families of any age who have leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma, or myeloma. Call for support group times and location.

Peer Support for newly diagnosed patients who wish to talk to a person going though the same situation (trained volunteers).
