Provides tools and therapy techniques to help children improve gross motor skills, balance, coordination, strength, and posture. Physical therapy can also help children recover from injuries, improve flexibility and mobility, and manage pain. Pediatric therapists conduct an evaluation to assess each child's physical abilities and develops a personalized treatment plan.

- Tortcollis/plagiocephaly.

- Gait abnormalities (walking) and toe walking.

- Scoliosis.

- Sensory integration dysfunction.

- Hypotonia.

- Autism related conditions.

- Constipation and bed wetting.

- Cerebral palsy related conditions.

- Gross motor and movement dysfunction.

- Spina bifida.

- Muscular dystrophy.

- Fractures, soft tissue injuries.

- Sports related injuries.

- Muscular weakness.

Provides hospice and palliative services to veterans with life-threatening illnesses. Services focus on comfort, quality of life and reducing suffering.

Provides emergency shelter and services to boys and girls, up to age 18, and their families. Currently licensed to serve 15 youth at any given time. Provides Family Centered Services for youth involved in the system, and a TISC diversion services that includes a 47-hour LEC placement for youth in immediate danger/safety of the home or crisis.

For 2026:

Provides youth music education during the fall semester (Aug 24-Dec 11, 2026), including one-on-one lessons for bass, guitar, drums, voice, keys, and ukulele.

Child safety seat inspections provided free of charge. If a new seat is needed, they are sold at a reduced rate if the child receives Medicaid, Kids Connection, or WIC.

WIC helps meet the nutritional needs through health and nutrition assessments and education, food vouchers to participating stores, and breastfeeding support. Many working families as well as those who receive SNAP benefits also qualify for WIC services.

Also provides Nurse Case Managers that help income eligible women and their children to obtain healthcare services. Also provides other assistance they may need to have a healthy pregnancy, and promote the child’s healthy development.

Must register by December 5, 2025, to receive toys.

Offers free clothing, household goods and items, and food to anyone that is looking for some extra help for the holiday. The event will provide a free sit-down meal for the entire family.  

Title X Family Planning is a voluntary birth control program that provides information about birth control methods or the number and spacing of children.

Services are confidential and include:

• Physical exams
• Pregnancy testing and options counseling
• STD education, testing, and treatment
• Birth control methods and counseling, including emergency contraception
• Community education services for professionals, schools, parents, and teens

State Supplement adds to the benefits of the federal Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Program to bring the income of aged and disabled individuals up to the need of standards of Nebraska. Additionally, some persons are not eligible for SSI payments, but qualify for a State Supplement payment because of different standards and regulations.

State Disability provides aid to needy persons who have a disability expected to last for at least six months, but less than the 12 months required to be eligible for the federal Supplemental Security Income Program.

Provides a drop in location for those feeling stressed, overwhelmed, experiencing increased mental health symptoms, or if needing information about local resources and services. Staff are available to listen and support, help find solutions, and plan next steps.

Individuals do not have to already be receiving services from LSRC to visit the Living Room.

Provides preventative reproductive health care and education, including contraceptive education, sexually transmitted infection prevention, and pregnancy-related information.

- Offers breast examinations, Pap tests, and instruction on breast self-examination.

- Provides general immunizations to prevent diseases and reduce health risks for individuals and the community.

- Shares information on environmental hazards and safety measures to promote overall health.

- Offers blood pressure screenings to identify risk of hypertension-related conditions.

- Provides referrals to programs like WIC, to support nutrition, breastfeeding, and overall health.

Provides an emergency shelter for young men and young women. The staff work with the youth and their families to solidify permanent housing, education, and an on-going support network. Services are available to both pregnant and/or parenting teens.

Used clothing store open to the public. Sells gently used clothing for men, women, and children. Store also carries small household items and some craft items.

County level services provide direct emergency economic aid for vital necessities to veterans, their widow, and dependents, according to their needs. Personal visits for assistance and claims to housebound veterans or dependents. Must have an honorable or under honorable conditions discharge from active duty or wartime service. Must be a resident in Iowa for the past one year and 6 months of that year in Clinton County.

State level services do not require wartime service. Assists in completing applications for the Iowa Veterans Aid Fund, fee exempt fishing and hunting permits, applications to the Iowa Veterans Home, waivers of tuition.

Federal level services provide and/or complete Veteran Administration forms for claims relating but not limited to service connected compensation, disability pension, widow's pension, burial allowance, grave markers/headstones, educational benefits, home loans, insurance, indebtedness, and character of service upgrades.
