Provides help to senior citizens, who might otherwise need nursing home care, to remain in their own homes by providing in-home and community-based services. Services include:

- Comprehensive care coordination.

• Adult day services.
• In-home services (cleaning, meals, laundry, shopping/running errands, and personal hygiene).
• Emergency home response service.
• Automated medication dispenser service.

Provides property assessment, property value information, Homestead, Veteran and Family Farm Credit sign up.

Provides support for families when a primary care provider finds social, emotional, or developmental concerns, family stress, or caregiver depression during well-child medical exams. If a concern is found, the family is referred to a support specialist who helps coordinate care. Specialists may provide referrals for developmental screenings, mental health or behavioral health services, or other needed services.

Offers various services to diagnose and treat autism for individuals of all ages.

Services include:

-- Autism Resource Directory with referrals for services.

Offers an 8-hour course that teaches how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The training provides the skills needed to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing and mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis.

Also offers a course designed to teach parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, peers, neighbors, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis. Topics include depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.

Provides a program for youth who have limited or no prior work experience and are experiencing barriers to employment to have an opportunity to participate in a paid work experience with local businesses. Work experiences are typically 4-12 weeks in length, but may be longer depending on the needs of the participant.

Services include:

- Career and guidance counseling.

- Education preparation and planning.

- Paid vocational training.

Free 4-line, 28 cell slate and a round or saddle stylus to any blind or low vision person needing one.  Individuals can request a free slate and stylus once per year.

Provides free and confidential services to pregnant women, their families, and individuals with young children. Services include pregnancy testing, pregnancy counseling, limited ultrasound, ongoing pregnancy support, referrals for community support services, support after an abortion, the Earn While You Learn Program, fatherhood mentoring, and a maternity home.

Also, provides childbirth education classes to prepare prospective mothers, birth partners, and family members for the labor and birth process, covering topics such as anatomy, breathing and relaxation techniques, delivery options, and postpartum care.

Additionally, resources and guidance are available to support economic self-sufficiency, including vocational evaluation, training in marketable skills, and referrals for employment opportunities tailored to those facing emotional challenges, substance abuse issues, or disabilities.

Offers a full food, toiletry, and clothing pantry. Available one time per month per household.

Shower available daily on-site (during open hours), with towel and toiletries provided.

Disaster preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation.

Information and education on emergency disaster preparedness.

Assists in managing Homeland Security Programs.

Authorized to acquire, develop and maintain public parks, preserves, parkways, playgrounds, recreational centers, county forests, wildlife and other conservation areas. PCC encourages the orderly development and conservation of natural resources, and to cultivate good citizenship by providing adequate programs of public recreation. Environmental education and hazards programs and outreach are offered as well.
