Senior centers provide a place for congregate meals, as well as social activities, games, educational programs, etc.

Provides educational trainings in the areas of prevention, intervention, and post-vention. Trainings specific to Native populations are available.

Assists in the development and growth of area businesses, and creating community involvement.

Voucher meals are a supplementary meal offering in select locations in the service area at local restaurants, to help provide meals on weekends or during irregular schedules, and promotes small business. Participants will be able to use a voucher ticket to get an entree, fruit, vegetable, and bread.

Provides after school child care services. Students are either bused or picked up in the Y Vans while their adults finish out their workday. Snacks, homework help, active play, swimming, and more are provided. 

Offers free breakfast, lunch, and dinner served daily, including holidays at Crossroads Mission Avenue locations.

Helps low-income households increase the energy efficiency of their homes and save money on fuel costs. Typical energy-saving measures include sealing air leaks, installing insulation in attics, walls and crawl spaces, tuning and upgrading heating systems, and installing low-cost energy conservation measures.

Provides assistance for past due rent/mortgage payments to avoid possible eviction, and water bills to avoid disconnection.

Provides access to confidential trauma treatment, connecting clients with licensed mental health therapists to address conditions such as post-traumatic stress, moral injury, and thoughts of suicide. 

Services are offered to active duty, veterans, and their loved ones regardless of a client’s ability to pay or military discharge status. Therapists are available both in person and via telehealth.

Offers virtual peer support groups for spouses and caregivers, along with wellness programming such as trauma-informed yoga and self-defense classes, primarily in Omaha and Lincoln. 

Offers peer support services primarily with justice-involved veterans.

Quarterly financial literacy classes are offered virtually and in person.
