University Community Childcare
Private, non-profit organization providing early childcare and education services for infants, toddlers, and pre-school age children year-round. Before and after school care kindergarten through 5th grade with full day care provided during summer vacations. Infant Program (Cuddly Cubs) 12 children from six weeks up to 24 months old. There are four full-time teachers in this group with each teacher providing primary care for four babies. Toddler/2's (Hoppin' Kangaroos) 16 children from 18 months up to 3 years old. There are four full-time teachers in this room with teachers providing primary care for the children.
UCC provides two preschool programs for children ages 3-5 to fit the needs of families. Enrollment is maintained at 16 children in each room. The Jumpin' Monkey's Mon-Fri 7 am-5:30 pm, year around for children of ISU student, staff and faculty parents. The Tumblin' Tigers Mon-Fri 7 am-5:30 pm, year around children of ISU student, staff and faculty parents. This program is also a community site of the Ames Public School District's State-Wide Voluntary Preschool program for 4-year-old children. The School Age before and after public school for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Summer Camp is available for 21 children June - August.

Offers a driver's license reinstatement service through the County Attorney Payment Program (CAPP). This allows qualifying Jasper County residents with a suspended driver's license the opportunity to sign a County Attorney Payment Plan agreement to pay back delinquent fines which may allow individuals the chance to obtain their driver's license back. Must fill out financial affidavit and return it to the Jasper County Attorney's office. A review of the financial affidavit will determine if individual is eligible for the CAPP program. Individuals are not eligible for license reinstatement program if any of the following criteria apply: -- License suspended for non-payment of Child Support -- License suspended for out-of-state tickets -- Failed to complete a substance abuse evaluation (if required by the DOT) -- Failed to obtain an ignition interlock device (if required by the DOT) -- Failed to complete the Drinking and Driving Class (if required by the DOT)
