Services may also include a variety of meeting room spaces, as well as two dining rooms available for public rental. The Grand Ballroom located on the second floor of the building provides a space for wedding receptions and large dinner gatherings for up to 200 people.

Many services have virtual and in-person times to allow for visits without appointment. During open hours, clients can visit the website to enter a virtual lobby and talk with a staff member.

Al-Anon Family Groups is a mutual support program for people who have been or are being affected by someone else’s drinking. Meetings are facilitated by members.

Alateen meetings are for teenagers who have been affected by someone else’s drinking. While Alateen members conduct their own meetings, certified adult Group Sponsors are there for safety and guidance.

Serves as the primary center for intake, screening, and service connection for Champaign County youth, aged 10 to 17, and families. YAC case managers screen at-risk youth and link them and their families with the community’s support and restorative services. Law enforcement personnel typically make referrals to the YAC as an alternative to prosecution and to help prevent further delinquent activities. Referrals can also be made by families and the community.

Extended outpatient and continuing care services for adults and adolescents. Offers treatment in both group and individual settings.

Offers "Norman Services" to support families with children at risk of being placed in DCFS care or unable to return home due to unmet basic needs such as food, shelter, clothing, or other essential items. These services aim to prevent child removal or facilitate reunification by addressing critical living circumstances.

Eligible families may receive assistance through Public Aid/TANF and other cash grants, the Housing Advocacy Program (HAP) to secure permanent housing, and the Emergency Cash Assistance Program for immediate basic needs.

Additionally, the services include support for guardianship-related matters, providing guidance and resources for individuals navigating the appointment or opposition of guardianship arrangements for children or adolescents.

Offers school bus driver training and refresher courses.

Monthly program offering free legal advice for low-income residents, as well as other legal resources and self-help forms. Available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Civil law questions only; no criminal law, no appeals.

Offers MEDICAID (Medical Assistance) to people who are low income and aged (65 and older), disabled (including blindness), women needing treatment for cancer or pre-cancerous conditions of breast or cervix (who have been screened and diagnosed through the Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection program and who do not have credible health insurance coverage), children under 21 years of age, pregnant women, parents or other caretaker relatives of children under age 18 (or under age 19 if they are attending secondary school and are expected to graduate before age 19). Medicaid will pay the costs of Health care, Dental care, In-home health care, Nursing facility care or Residential facility care.

Tenant education program that helps people learn how to find and keep decent rental housing and how to become more successful renters. Renters who complete this program of six modules earn a certificate of completion to show potential landlords and property managers that they want to be reliable tenants.

Rent Wise modules are offered quarterly.

Provides free tax credit clinics and prepares free federal and state income taxes for low to moderate income households.

When scheduling an appointment, choose a site location and date. All location will be face-to-face; virtual preparation is available in addition to facilitated self-assistance (schedule an appointment under the 'Need Assistance' tab).

If Lincoln Public School and/or UNL is closed due to bad weather, all VITA sites are closed.

The scope of work that can be done within the VITA site is defined by the IRS. If a return is considered "out of scope" for the site, VITA Volunteers will not be able to prepare the return.

Provides free Immigration and Naturalization Assistance to help immigrants and refugees become US citizens.

Community education workshops will be offered, ESL/Citizenship Classes and legal assistance including preparing Naturalization and/or DACA applications.

Non-residential level-4 outpatient substance abuse program which provides substance abuse counseling and relapse prevention program. Services are offered to individuals abusing substances or individuals who have been affected by someone else's use or abuse of alcohol or other drugs. The availability and accessibility of community-based services allows individuals to remain in their own environment while receiving services that meet their needs in the least restrictive environment.

Voucher meals are a supplementary meal offering in select locations in the service area at local restaurants, to help provide meals on weekends or during irregular schedules, and promotes small business. Participants will be able to use a voucher ticket to get an entree, fruit, vegetable, and bread.
