Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County
Builds safe, affordable houses for qualified homebuyers. Each Habitat home is built in partnership with homeowner families, sponsors, and volunteers. These are sold to the partner family whom repays an affordable mortgage over 20 years. Homeowners attend a series of workshops on financial literacy and home maintenance so they are well-prepared to be homeowners.

Winneshiek County Habitat For Humanity
Provides houses built or renovated using as much volunteer labor and donated materials as possible. Recipients must be involved in the construction of the homes (sweat equity). Small monthly mortgage payments including taxes and insurance are repaid over a maximum of 25 years and deposited into a revolving "Fund For Humanity" which supports the construction of more houses.

The Ovation Center
Provides support to individuals, family members, and/or significant others in making informed care choices based on the individual's needs, preferences, values, and circumstances. Services may include offering information and guidance about Medicaid eligibility, application processes, managed care options, covered benefits (including long-term care and home and community-based services), co-payment procedures, Medicaid spend-down requirements, and the connections between Medicaid and Medicare. Assistance may also include addressing questions about Medicaid services for individuals with disabilities, enrollment support, and referrals to Medicaid-approved providers.
