Provides support and guidance for people living with dementia and their caregivers. Services include care planning, clinical support, help through each stage of dementia, and an annual respite allowance to support caregiver well-being.

Computers, laptops, televisions, audio equipment, and other electronics are sold at low cost. Computers or other items are not given away for free, but low prices are offered to help people on a budget.

Showroom may be visited during the listed hours, as product change regularly.

Offers to assist a relative caregiver who wants to obtain guardianship through probate court of a relative's child living in the home of the caregiver. This includes

- Educating and helping the caregiver negotiate the probate court system.

• Assisting caregivers to obtain required documents.
• Arranging for legal counsel in counties where legal counsel is necessary.

  EFSP caseworkers meet with the relative caregiver monthly until guardianship has been obtained or until other services have been provided. These services can include crisis intervention, applying for benefits, working with local schools for the child's enrollment, and referral to a range of needed services that the caregiver may have to help meet the basic needs of the family.

Provides rent and utility assistance for individuals in need. Applicants that are eligible, may only receive help once every 12 months.

Educational Support Services to public and nonpublic schools including school improvement, special education, and media. Special Education Services include:

-- Social Work

Access point for the community's homeless response system. Individuals and families who are at imminent risk of homelessness (with no house, apartment, etc. to stay tonight) will complete an assessment and receive help to find housing options.

- For services through the Garland Thompson Men's Center, emergency services are for men only who are in need of immediate assistance.

Offers therapy that uses animals to treat patients emotionally and physically. The therapy is very effective in treating veterans, autism spectrum disorders, behavioral issues, depression, anxiety, attachment issues, and numerous other common concerns of clients.

Provides law enforcement services to the Henry County communities. Also operates and maintains the county Jail. 

Provides public housing options to low income individuals and families. Also administers the Section 8 Choice Housing Voucher program. 

Provides government services and utility billing for water, sewer, garbage and recycle for the residents of Mingo.

Provides help to low-income people and families buy food.

Offers the Restaurant Meals Program, which allows eligible SNAP customers to buy meals at authorized restaurants. (Available to SNAP customers who are homeless, elderly, and/or disabled.)

The LINK card is accepted at many farmers' markets.

Expedited/Emergency SNAP Benefits may be available (in 5 days or less from the date of application) to eligible clients if:

- Monthly income, cash, and bank accounts are less than client's rent or mortgage plus utility costs, OR

- Monthly income is less than $150 and client's cash and bank accounts are not more than $100, OR

- At least one person in the household is a migrant farm worker and client's cash and bank accounts are not more than $100.

Provide individualized treatment plans for children with autism to help them meet developmental milestones. All treatment is within the framework of ABA and is designed and supervised by a BCBA (board certified behavioral analyst). The treatment plans are carried out by an RBT (registered behavior technician) or a BCBA, and services are provided one to one. Offers in home, in clinic, parent training, and tele-health options.

Provides nonperishable food items to those in need. May also direct callers to nearby food pantries.

Personal grooming supplies and hygiene items available.

Provides referrals if additional help is needed.
