Food pantry.

Provides a mini community food pantry located on the east side of the library entrance. Feel free to take items or donate non perishable items that are not expired.

Provides community-based nutrition education for individuals and families eligible for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). IL SNAP-Ed works with communities and local partners to prevent obesity and reduce the risk of chronic disease by making nutritious foods and active living opportunities more accessible.

Designated dual-diagnosis/co-occurring mental health & substance abuse treatment facility. Gateway is able to provide treatment to those with substance use disorder, with or without a mental health diagnosis.

Substance use treatment options vary by location, but may include:

Offers a new treatment for mental illness which involves the assessment of clinical imbalances through the patient's medical history, physical examination, and laboratory tests. Functional medicine also looks into the genetic makeup of a patient and environmental factors such as diet, physical activities, traumatic experience, and exposure to toxic substances. 

Services for individuals with disabilities. Includes information and referral, service coordination, independent living skills training, individual and system advocacy, equipment loan and rental, barrier removal consultations and grants, and disability awareness training. Assists people with disabilities to transition from nursing homes to community based living.

General medical care for all. Services include:

- Audiology.

- Family medicine.

- ENT.

- Gastroenterology.

- Internal medicine.

- Pediatrics.

Offers mental health and substance use disorder services, including: recovery support and outpatient substance use treatment, DUI evaluation and risk education, psychiatric care, and outpatient mental health program.

Collects property taxes, conducts annual tax sale for delinquent taxes, processes vehicle transactions, issues driver's licenses, and issues motor vehicle titles and registrations.

Provides hospice and palliative services to veterans with life-threatening illnesses. Services focus on comfort, quality of life and reducing suffering.

Provides free food for individuals and families in need. Emergency food is also available.  See website.

Volunteer Proxy Service is also available if client is unable to come to the food pantry.

Bring bags or boxes to transport the food you select to your car.

Provides comprehensive support services for individuals and families facing mental health or behavioral challenges. Families build a personalized support team that may include professionals, service providers, friends, mentors, and other trusted individuals. 

Evening meal provided by St. Joseph's Parish and served each weekday at 5:30 pm at Lund Hall.

Provides weatherization services to make homes more energy efficient through health and safety checks including furnaces, insulation, water heaters and sealing doorways and windows. Inefficient heating components may be repaired or replaced.

The Regional Office of Education is responsible for the delivery of initial and continuing education for school bus drivers. Schedule can be found on the website.class="pasteContent_RTE">

Provides the delivery of hot and healthy noontime meals to an individual in the comfort and privacy of their own home. All Meals are heart healthy and diabetic safe. The meals provide one-third of the recommended daily allowance of nutrition. Specialized diets including renal, low lactose, and pureed are also available.

Community health prevention, education, and wellness services.

Vaccines for children ages birth to 19. Adult and travel immunizations also available. Flu shots available for adults and children.

Genetic clinic associated with the Munroe-Meyer Institute through the University of Nebraska Medical Center-Omaha.

Community education and wellness programs, including work site wellness.

Medically handicapped children's clinic provides specialized medical services for families with children with disabilities or those who have ongoing health care needs.
