Provides outpatient mental health care to children, youth and families through the Pediatric and Adolescent Therapy, Medication Management and Behavioral Health Intervention Services.

Provides food and personal grooming supplies for people in need. Donations of food and grooming supplies appreciated. This is a participating TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) food pantry. Enrollment into TEFAP is confidential. Individuals participating in the FoodShare, School Nutrition Program, WIC, or Senior Meals programs may participate in TEFAP without impacting their ability to qualify for those programs. Must meet income guidelines.

Provides a community meal served on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. All Boone County residents are welcome.

Offers basketball, computer labs, tutoring, kid's and teen's programs, recreation, leadership training, youth employment, Bible studies, and a safe, fun place for youth to go.

Provides a thrift store that offers gently used furniture, decor, collectibles and adult clothing. All proceeds from the thrift store sales will go toward services provided to HCI Care Services' patients and their families. Donations accepted: furniture, antiques/collectibles, China, linens, toys and games, books, CDs, DVDs, VHS, women's clothing, shoes, and handbags. Cannot accept mattresses, sofa sleepers, computer, any appliances, television, sports equipment, etc. Donation pickups possible, call to make arrangements.

Food pantry.

Offers emotional support and crisis intervention to any person who might be struggling. Can be met at home, or in the community. Collaborates with emergency responders and assist in connecting to higher levels of care as needed. 

Offers a program that helps you to save time and money through planning your meals and shopping strategies. Programming and materials may also be available online. 

Support group for those who have suffered a loss of a child to suicide. All family members welcome.

Provides a shopping card to eligible families to purchase a new pair of shoes for children at the start of the school year. Only available during the summer months before school starts.

Offers all DHS offices across the state during open hours for people to use as a warm/cool place to stay.

Offers workshops that teach individuals and families how to get more out of money and how to save money for financial goals. This is a series of workshops that are a blend of instruction and hands on activities so each concept can be mastered. 

Program services include rental assistance up to HUD Fair Market Rent allowance and case management. Can remain on program as long as eligibility requirements are met.

Services for victims of domestic assault, sexual assault, dating violence, stalking, and human trafficking.

Crisis counseling, 24 hour hotline, safe shelter, and support groups.

Support services include financial assistance and advocacy.

Prevention and education materials.

Children's program, including information on bullying and a support group.

Safe place for children to stay whose families are in, or approaching, crisis situations. Volunteer host families provide a home for children while their parents take the steps they need to reach stability.

Serves the counties of Scott, Muscatine, Des Moines, Jackson, Louisa, and Clinton in Iowa and Henry, Mercer, Rock Island and parts of Whiteside in Illinois.
