Offers to assist a relative caregiver who wants to obtain guardianship through probate court of a relative's child living in the home of the caregiver. This includes

- Educating and helping the caregiver negotiate the probate court system.

• Assisting caregivers to obtain required documents.
• Arranging for legal counsel in counties where legal counsel is necessary.

  EFSP caseworkers meet with the relative caregiver monthly until guardianship has been obtained or until other services have been provided. These services can include crisis intervention, applying for benefits, working with local schools for the child's enrollment, and referral to a range of needed services that the caregiver may have to help meet the basic needs of the family.

Offers to improve the social and emotional well-being of youth through mindful movement through free movement based programs weightlifting, and yoga for kids 10-18 to improve social and emotional skills.

Offers a recovery home to individuals who may come from residential treatment centers to continue their recovery. Recovery homes are free from alcohol and drugs.

There is oversight to residents 24 hours a day. Residents attend treatment and implement sober living skills with other individuals in early recovery. The Recovery Homes are currently available to adult men and adult women who struggle with a substance use disorder to assist in their long-term recovery.

Provides books, e-books, audiobooks, DVDs, video games, board games, puzzles, cake pans, projectors, tables, chairs for loan; free meeting room space. Purchases books for patrons. Reading at Home (RAH) door delivery program for homebound.

Activities include summer reading program, preschool story time, Library Beats program for toddlers, Friday Friends Playgroup on the second and fourth Fridays of the month for children birth to 5 years, bingo on the third Wednesday of the month for any ages, needlecraft club, monthly adult programs, and other special programs. Family craft days, family board game nights, video gaming, Anime Club, Lego Club, teen book club, D and D Club, Saturday morning cartoons, Trading Card Club, and other activities for youth and adults.

Offers affordable legal immigration services, adult education programs such as GED in Spanish, computer classes, and a Micro Business & Development Program. Other resources and/or financial assistance may be available.

Provides mental health education, support, and advocacy for individuals, family members, and communities.

The Center is dedicated to serving the best interests of sexually/ physically abused and neglected children by providing:

- A safe and comfortable environment for the child and family to feel at ease while talking about the abuse during the investigation process.

- Linkage and coordination between police investigators, child welfare workers, prosecutors, and treatment providers so that the number of victim interviews can be reduced.

- An interdisciplinary review process for decision-making, problem-solving, information sharing and case monitoring.

- A comprehensive tracking system shared by all appropriate agencies for those children who have been sexually/ physically abused.

- Specialized training for professionals involved with victims and families in child sexual/ physical abuse cases.

- Education and prevention in dealing with issues of sexual/ physical/ abuse.

- Provides medical evaluations performed by physicians specially trained in the detection and treatment of child physical/sexual abuse.

Counseling Services for Children/Parents/Families in Child Welfare:  Counselors utilize a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach to assist people to recover from past traumas and their well-being is enhanced. Assists families in the identifications and solutions so that their strengths are maximized and connections to other support systems are available to them.

Community Counseling offers in-person or telehealth community counseling, which can assist with:

-- Reactions to trauma.

-- Depression.

-- Anxiety.

-- Poor education success for children.

-- Children demonstrating unusual behavior.

-- Marriage conflict.

Offers screening, evaluation, consultation and therapy for children who have issues with language, voice, articulation and stuttering.

Provides immediate, walk-in care for minor injuries and non-emergency illnesses that are not life-threatening but need early attention. Common conditions include sore throat, pink eye, flu, sprains, and strains.

Offers demonstrations and instructions to community groups and individuals on a variety of topics such as Stop the Bleed, emergency preparedness, CPR, first aid, sun protection, infection prevention, and many others.

Offers community and residential support services to help people learn some or all of the skills necessary to plan, shop for and prepare their own meals, do their laundry, clean their home, and enjoy community events and activities.

Christmas food baskets, vouchers, and gifts for children.

For Christmas 2025:

Provides a child’s toy and clothing of choice, hats and gloves and coat (if needed), food for the family, and other items.
