Helps low-income people and families buy food.
Offers the Restaurant Meals Program, which allows eligible SNAP customers to buy meals at authorized restaurants. (Available to SNAP customers who are homeless, elderly, and/or disabled.)
The LINK card is accepted at many farmers' markets.
Expedited/Emergency SNAP Benefits may be available (in 5 days or less from the date of application) to eligible clients if:
- Monthly income, cash, and bank accounts are less than client's rent or mortgage plus utility costs, OR
- Monthly income is less than $150 and client's cash and bank accounts are not more than $100, OR
- At least one person in the household is a migrant farm worker and client's cash and bank accounts are not more than $100.

Offers single family housing program provide homeownership opportunities to low- and moderate-income rural Americans through several loan, grant, and loan guarantee programs. The program also makes funding available to individuals to finance vital improvements necessary to make their homes decent, safe, and sanitary.

Clay County Senior Services
Voucher meals are a supplementary meal offering in select locations in the service area at local restaurants, to help provide meals on weekends or during irregular schedules, and promotes small business. Participants will be able to use a voucher ticket to get an entree, fruit, vegetable, and bread.
Bremer County Community Based Services Office
Provides one-time annual assistance for basic needs, including rent or lot rent, utilities such as gas, electric, and water, and food vouchers. The program does not serve individuals receiving FIP, living in subsidized housing, or currently enrolled as students.
Additionally, the program may offer support for prescription medication needs, such as access to low-cost or hard-to-obtain medications and assistance with medication adherence.
Financial assistance for burial or cremation expenses may also be available to help families cover funeral, cremation, or interment costs.

Programs that offer a wide variety of independent living services for individuals with disabilities with the objective of helping them to function more independently in family and community settings and to secure and maintain appropriate employment. Services may include: information and referral, skills training, case management, and peer counseling.
Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center
Provides a structured after-school environment for students in kindergarten through 9th grade. Helps to motivate development of educational, social and emotional skills, and to create positive relationships. Homework help and nutritious food (snack and dinner) are provided.
Lincoln Lancaster County Health Department
Designed to provide immediate, temporary coverage of ambulatory prenatal care services to pregnant women while their eligibility for full Medicaid benefits is determined. Clients must follow through with the process to determine if they are eligible for full Medicaid benefits. Women must be pregnant, a Nebraska resident, and meet income guidelines, and should call prior to applying for Medicaid to schedule an appointment.
Child Saving Institute
Provides voluntary home-based family support. Children are referred to the program by Omaha Public Schools personnel based on the youth’s behavior at school, attendance, and other individual challenges.

Provides after-school programing which includes homework tutoring, physical activities and expanded learning opportunities.
New Life Transitions of Northern Illinois
Provides transitional services to formerly incarcerated individuals. Services include, but are not limited to:
- Transitional housing

- Life skills development (including budgeting, health and wellness information, parenting training, etc.)
