State Supplement adds to the benefits of the federal Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Program to bring the income of aged and disabled individuals up to the need of standards of Nebraska. Additionally, some persons are not eligible for SSI payments, but qualify for a State Supplement payment because of different standards and regulations.

State Disability provides aid to needy persons who have a disability expected to last for at least six months, but less than the 12 months required to be eligible for the federal Supplemental Security Income Program.

Pantry can provide meat, milk, non-perishable items, and dry goods.

Provides services in the office, patient homes, hospitals, rehabilitation units, assisted living facilities, memory care facilities, long-term care facilities, as well as via telehealth visits.

County level services provide direct emergency economic aid for vital necessities to veterans, their widow, and dependents, according to their needs. Personal visits for assistance and claims to housebound veterans or dependents. Must have an honorable or under honorable conditions discharge from active duty or wartime service. Must be a resident in Iowa for the past one year and 6 months of that year in Clinton County.

State level services do not require wartime service. Assists in completing applications for the Iowa Veterans Aid Fund, fee exempt fishing and hunting permits, applications to the Iowa Veterans Home, waivers of tuition.

Federal level services provide and/or complete Veteran Administration forms for claims relating but not limited to service connected compensation, disability pension, widow's pension, burial allowance, grave markers/headstones, educational benefits, home loans, insurance, indebtedness, and character of service upgrades.

Promotes safe alternatives for parents in crisis pregnancy situations in every state.

The 24-hour crisis hotline provides support and direction for parents and providers regarding the Safe Haven law, including Safe Surrender locations, adoption resources, and parenting support. Also provides direct resources to assist and prevent infant abandonment. The crisis hotline is staffed by trained professionals who are able to support and assist parents and providers.

Provides short term care services.

Short Term Care: Designed for patients recovering from surgery, injury, or serious illness. Provides specialized therapies, customized treatment plans, and therapists to help clients improve and strengthen mobility.

Services may include:

- Physical therapy.

- Wound care.

- Occupational therapy.

- Transportation services (including dialysis).

- Respiratory CPAP/Bipap.

- Speech therapy.

- IV therapy.

- Dental care.

- Respite care.

- Life vests.

- Vision services.

- Dementia care.

- Secured memory care.

- Physiatry.

- On-site podiatry services.

- 3-day Medicare waiver through CMS.

Collects and distributes blood and platelets to patients in need.

Discusses therapy options and an individual treatment plan to help clients achieve optimal health.

Provides engineering and design of County roadway projects, including local resurfacing and bridge replacement. The division is responsible for the construction and maintenance of the County Secondary Road System, including ditch cleaning, roadway surface repairs, bridge and culvert repairs, and snow removal.

Provides a package of 60-70 diapers once per month per child under age three. Diapers may only be picked up by the child's parent/legal guardian (ID required). Document verification of child's age is also required. Diapers are distributed during normal food pantry hours.

Provides an alternative school giving students another change to succeed. Offering tools, support and different teaching methods to help students learn in the way that works best for them. 

Provides a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary response to child sexual abuse and serious physical abuse allegations in a neutral, child-focused setting.

Coordinates and tracks the investigations, medical treatment, counseling referrals, prosecution and training in order to protect the best interests of the child victims and their families.
