Provides an 8-session, peer-led education program, open to adult family members, significant others, or friends of people who live with mental illness. The course is taught by trained family members of people living with mental illness.

Provides care that includes residential treatment, outpatient treatment, sober living, crisis care, and prevention education. These programs address mental health and substance use disorders, as well as co-occurring disorders, and have a strong family component to involve parents, guardians, and other loved ones in the journey to healing when appropriate.

Works with disabled individuals to find employment by assisting them with job readiness skills, benefits counseling, job development, and case management. The program works with local business, as well as state and federal agencies, to ensure that the services are all encompassing.

Provides reception and classification services for individuals entering the adult correctional system. Offers medical, mental health, psychiatric, psychological, nursing, pharmacy, education, and social services. Educational services include Adult Basic Education, General Education Development (GED) preparation, special education for eligible individuals, and opportunities to earn a high school diploma.

Provides assessment and individual and group counseling to those who have been the perpetrators of abuse. The 3 main service components are:

Partner Abuse Intervention counseling for those who have been abusive in current or past intimate partner relationships.

Abuse Intervention counseling for those who have been abusive to other adults who are NOT their intimate partners.

Caring Dads/Nurturing Moms, counseling for parents (biological, step, or common law) who have exposed their children to domestic violence, either as witnesses to the abuse of the other parent, and/or as victims themselves.

Provides information on Parkinson's disease, including its causes, symptoms, treatment options, and therapeutic activities to do at home. Also offers resources and insights to foster understanding and awareness about living with Parkinson's disease, promoting positive communication and interaction with individuals affected by the condition. 

Provides an after school program with various activities include games, crafts, homework assistance, and outdoor play. Snacks are provided. Additional activities include swimming, field trips, and other educational activities kids love. Swimming fees are extra.

Offers a home hospice program for patients and families throughout central Illinois. A coordinated care team visits individuals and their families in their own home. "Home" can be anywhere an individual calls home - house, apartment, nursing or retirement facility. The goal is to keep patients in familiar surroundings and close to loved ones for as long as possible.

Offers FIP (Family Investment Program) a cash assistance program for children and their families who have low income, also available to relatives caring for children whose parents are not in the home. The goal of FIP is to help families leave poverty and become self supporting, can participate for up to 60 months. FIP is Iowa's Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program.

Provides short term, emergency assistance to residents of Johnson County. Assistance includes rent, lot rent based on household size and income, utilities up to $200 (gas, electric, water), non-food and emergency food vouchers. Assistance is possible up to 3 months in a 12 month period. A new application must be submitted each month assistance is needed. Rent assistance will not be used to supplements Section 8 Housing Assistance or other federally subsidized units. Veterans are referred to Johnson County Veterans Affairs. If not currently employed, all adult members of the household must be actively seeking employment. Serves all students, teachers, administrators, Boards of Education, and the communities of Iroquois and Kankakee counties.

Helps consumers prepare electronic and paper applications to establish eligibility to enroll in coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplaces and potentially qualify for an insurance affordability program. Counselors are trained and certified to help individuals understand health coverage options and enroll in a plan.

Offers mobile crisis response services for individuals in need. Provides services 24-hours a day, including crisis stabilization, pre-admission screening, assessment, case management, community support, and counseling/therapy. 

Emergency operations center for the County, which handles emergency response incidents, including accidents, fires, floods, storms and other disasters. Also responsible for requesting federal assistance after a disaster.

Provides information, assistance, and referrals to caregivers of older adults to help with necessary services and supports. Staff can also help the caregiver determine if the person they are caring for is receiving benefits they may be eligible for that could reduce the caregiver's costs.

Provides counseling services. Services include individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, individual, family, and play therapy for children and adolescents and pre-marital counseling.

Provides a program that pairs families with a home-visitor based on each family’s needs and schedules. Home visitors emphasize practical parenting skills as well as family bonding before birth and as children grow up.
