Provides a continuum of mental health treatment, supports and habilitation services designed to assist adults with a serious mental illness to overcome barriers and develop a happy and meaningful life. CBRS staff are committed to helping individuals who desire increased satisfaction in life areas including home, work, school and relationships. Services provided: First Episode Recovery Support Team (FERST), Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT), Supported Community Living (SCL), Community Support Services (CSS).

Offers a national civil rights advocacy group with branches in Iowa and Nebraska, providing mentorship programs that offer companionship, guidance, and role models for individuals who are disadvantaged due to age, income, physical or developmental disabilities, or family environment.

Provides support services to individuals caring for a Veteran with serious illness or disabilities. For qualifying individuals, access to training, counseling, or respite care may be available.

Provides the following services for children and youth:

-- Crisis intervention.

-- Short-term stabilization where a child is at risk of self-harm, or harming others.

-- Individual and family psychotherapy/counseling.

-- Mental health assessment.

-- Case management and resource linkage assistance.

-- Psychiatric services.

Offers group residences for adults with intellectual disabilities. These homes are for those individuals with a variety of needs, who require specialized care.

Provides low-income rental apartments.

Works with income-eligible homeowners to make their homes safer and more energy efficient by eliminating heat loss and air infiltration areas in the home. After the initial assessment, recommendations on home improvements are given to the homeowner and the Weatherization team will coordinate repairs with contractors. Examples of common improvements include sealing cracks, insulating attics, or repairing windows and doors. All improvements are completed at no cost to the homeowner.

Additional priority is given to households with elderly, disabled, and young children.
