Warren Achievement Center - Community Day Services Facility
Provides community day services, including four classrooms for those living with cognitive and developmental disabilities. Participants are taught life skills, nutrition, hobby development, social interaction, conflict resolution, anger management, exercise/fitness, and more.
Activities include monthly parties, day camps, field trips, gardening, volunteering/community integration, and more. There are two full-time nurses on staff that manage a wide variety of duties.

Typical energy-saving measures include sealing air leaks, installing insulation in attics, walls and crawl spaces, tuning and upgrading heating systems, and installing low-cost energy conservation measures.

Single Parent Provision
Provides a free break time program for single parents to enjoy several hours of uninterrupted time (support) for running errands, studying, or simply having some alone time. Break Time is held throughout the year at Valley Community Center in West Des Moines. Based on survey data collected from single parents, Break Times are primarily held on Saturdays.

Offers to help families and children manage mental health challenges, healthy choices, and social issues at home and in the community. Services are provided in the home on a weekly basis, sometimes more often if needed. This allows children and families to learn and apply skills in their natural setting. Areas addressed include communication, conflict resolution, social skills, and emotional coping.

Provides a 12-step program for individuals with an addiction to issues surrounding money, including overspending, credit card abuse, check kiting, and other forms of money addiction. Services include in person, or virtual meetings visit website for more information.

Provides training, supports, and supervises community volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in the Vermilion County juvenile abuse and neglect court. A visitation center is also available for children to have a safe, secure place to visit their parents, siblings, and relatives.
