Iowa Department of Health and Human Services - Division of Public Health

Provides families with support and services related to lead poisoning and poisoning prevention and is housed in the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH). Primary CLPPP services are provided to families with children under 6 years in age. Services include case management, home nursing visits, referrals for nutrition and developmental services, environmental assessments and inspections for lead. There are currently 19 contracted childhood lead programs that provide services in 48 counties. IDPH provides services in the remaining 51 counties.
