Provides General Assistance as a monthly stipend to eligible residents. Financial services include help with rent and utilities.

Pathway of Hope assists families through crisis and instability, financial counseling and planning, goal setting with manageable action steps, job training, referrals and employment assistance, assistance with securing housing and child care, emotional and spiritual support.

Case workers meet with families weekly using the Strengths Model to focus on possibilities rather than problems and to establish goals.

Provides immediate medical care for illnesses like the common cold, rashes or other skin irritations, allergy symptoms, pink eye, earaches, cough and sore throat, STI checks and more.

Improves public safety by enforcing court orders, while providing services to juvenile and adult offenders to aid in their rehabilitation.

Provides outpatient services, counseling or therapy for children, teens , adults, couples, and families who need help with problems that affect their mental health.

• Tuberculosis (TB)
• Genetic screening (not testing)

Provides court-ordered DUI evaluations and services.

Mental health respite. Peer support for individuals living with mental illness or substance abuse. Assists in crisis prevention and diversion from psychiatric distress that may lead to hospitalization. Offers a 24-hour warmline to speak with a trained Peer Specialist.

Maximum five-day overnight stay; day guests also welcome.

Provides families with support and services related to lead poisoning and poisoning prevention and is housed in the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH). Primary CLPPP services are provided to families with children under 6 years in age. Services include case management, home nursing visits, referrals for nutrition and developmental services, environmental assessments and inspections for lead. There are currently 19 contracted childhood lead programs that provide services in 48 counties. IDPH provides services in the remaining 51 counties.

RSAC Prevention Educators are available to present professional trainings to organizations, companies, agencies, and schools. Educators have curriculum for many presentations but are open to new topics.

Professional trainings offered regularly include RSAC services and referral, how to respond to disclosure, childhood abuse, typical sexual development vs. red flag behavior, responding to sexual harassment, sexual assault and abuse, play therapy and sand tray therapy, and trauma and The Window of Tolerance.
