A 12-Step peer support program based on the Alcoholics Anonymous 12-Step Program. Support groups are volunteer-led weekly meetings either in-person, over the phone, or online that follow a specific format and use materials that have been approved by the Board of Trustees of the organization.
The International Service Center office in St. Paul, Minnesota, manages information about the individual groups, maintains the website, publishes and sells EA materials, and generally works to provide information and understanding about the EA program of recovery.
