Provides a supportive arts-based community for youth (ages 12-19) who have involvement in the juvenile court system, whether they are labeled delinquent, CINA (Child In Need of Assistance) or in custody of the Iowa Department of Human Services (homeless, in shelter or foster care systems). Artist mentors help define a safe space and encourage youth artists to find their creative voice. These weekly workshops are based on young people’s individual interests.

Offers an array of community support services such as respite, therapy services, day training programs, transportation, and nursing services through the coordination by EFGSI's HBS team leader. The program is open for adults and children in the community.

The Christmas Store offers presents at affordable prices to families in need.

The store will be open Thu, Dec 11 (6 pm-8 pm), Fri, Dec 12 (9:30 am-8 pm), and Sat, Dec 13 (9:30 am-11 am).

Families select their shopping time at registration.

Applicants must be the legal guardian of each child being registered, and the child must live in the applicant's home.

Provides a thrift store that sells donated, gently used products. Clothing vouchers available for children in need and adults in need of clothing for job interview.

Provides free diapers, wipes and other hygiene supplies to families with children in need in Boone and Winnebago Counties. Also have donated children's clothes, toys, books etc. for families to choose from.

Ensures the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and works to eliminate race-based discrimination.

Resale/thrift stores that sell tools, household items, furniture, clothing, shoes and boots, kitchenware, electronics, toys, books, and movies. Donations are accepted at stores when open.

Offers library services. Services include books (audio books), DVDs/Blu-rays, electronic resources, video games, magazines, newspapers, foreign language materials, business equipment, puzzles, science kits, meeting spaces, computers with internet and word processing, copiers, scanners and other equipment. Home delivery and outreach services may be available for those in need. Mobile scooters, wheelchairs rolling walkers, child strollers and assistive technology are available for in-library use. Programs and tours are available for individuals, classes and groups. Programs include story times for preschoolers, STEM/STEAM programs for elementary school age children, and more.   

Provides health care and specialty health care services, including mental health care. Can also provide family and internal medicine services.

Provides individualized and comprehensive case management for individuals at risk of or experiencing homelessness. Case Management services are focused on housing, health, and employment. Services may include shelter referral, coordinated entry for housing, access to low income housing and alternative housing solutions such as sober living and halfway housing. Referral and intake for addiction services, mental health services, employment services. Emergency Assistance including homeless prevention.

Provides consultation, follow-up, and treatment for Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs).

Educational presentations on STD awareness and prevention can be arranged.

HIV Counseling and Testing: Trained nurses provide confidential counseling and blood testing. Educational programs concerning AIDS are available to schools, organizations, and local businesses.

PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) medication for persons at risk for HIV.

Provides website services to give renters, landlords, housing professionals, and social service providers free access to detailed information about real-time rental housing vacancies including low income and section 8 housing.
