Recognized by the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) as a qualified immigration legal service provider. All practicing immigration specialists have received extensive education and training in immigration law and have obtained BIA accreditation. An immigration attorney is also available for individuals in removal or deportation proceedings who need representation in Immigration Court.

Offers affordable, quality immigration legal assistance to refugees, immigrants and asylees. Minimal fees for service are charged on a sliding scale.

-- Discovery: Helps to learn about a client's strengths and interests through observation, conversation, and spending time with clients to help find jobs that fit their goals. Family and friends are also interviewed to learn about a client's likes, dislikes, and strengths. Two home visits and a community visit are conducted.

-- Job Development: Employment Specialists teach social and communication skills needed to be successful at work. They support with touring businesses, job shadowing, and finding a job match. Also provide help creating a resume to give to potential employers. May begin with volunteering so that clients can gain experience and grow skills.

-- Employment Support: After a client is hired, Employment Support develops accommodations and supports for the job. Employment Support forms a relationship with the employer and supports the client to expand job roles. Provides initial job coaching for 2-4 weeks.

Head Start is an educational program to help prepare children for transition into kindergarten and provides health screenings and nutrients. Transportation is available at most locations. Early Head Start is specific to meet the developmental needs of infants and toddlers. Offers home-based options with a weekly visit from a teacher in the family's home along with two special days a month for activities with other families. The program focuses on supporting every child’s education, health, nutrition, and social-emotional development while partnering with families.

Provides services in support reproductive and preventive health for anyone who needs this care. Services may include pregnancy testing, prenatal care, post-partum care, doula services, breast/chest feeding support, family planning, birth control counseling, STI screening and treatment, breast/chest and cervical cancer screening, and infertility testing and referrals.

Provides a place for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities to gain greater independence, participate in community involvement, and work towards personal goals. The focus of services is on life skills, wellness, relationship-building, creativity, and choice. Early Head Start is an education-based program that supports families through child development, parenting education, nutrition, social services, parent involvement, family literacy, and health and disability services. The home visiting program consists of a home visitor making a weekly visit and providing two group socialization opportunities a month. The center-based program for parents working or going to school full time, provides free childcare for eligible infants and toddlers, which also promotes parental input through volunteer opportunities and parent interactions.

Head Start is a no-cost preschool program that serves children ages 0-5 and their families. Program includes health services, nutritional meals and snacks, disability services, educational services, social services, and parent involvement. Full-day and half-day programs are available.

Offers a food pantry once per calendar month to residents of Polk County. Individuals may go to the food pantry for a three-day supply of food and other non-essential food items. (Specialty ethnic foods may be available). Food is distributed solely to those in need without income being a consideration.
